The rebroadcast of this episode was at least more than just an above average episode of "Barnaby Jones", it was like a refreshing thriller with more twists and turns that kept your guessing what was going to happen next. The fun part was when the final closing credits appeared at the end, and the voiceover was talking about what was on the next day. Then after the closing theme ended, it made me laugh my head off so hard, that I had to rush to the bathroom as quick as I can, because I couldn't stop laughing.
And now when I look back on the night of July 22, 1978, I think that this was one hilarious Saturday Night in the summer of 1978 that would go down in history, since I laughed at the end of the "Ironside" theme song from seasons 5 to 8, when they threw in that Universal Studios logo at the end. Great Memories! Thanks!

This was another theme song that should have won a lot of awards!

@@bradcarltonslogoarchive9488 Also, I remember the exact words from the voiceover, who muted the theme song for this announcement:
"Tomorrow night, see "60 Minutes" @ 7 Central & Mountain,
then "Rhoda" is in hot water when work comes first and family second,
followed this week only by "Alice" @ 8:30/7:30 Central & Mountain.
Right after that, a special one-hour "All In The Family",
and to cap off Sunday, it's the case of a missing son,
when Malcolm is kidnapped on "Switch"."
Then, the final moments of the "Barnaby Jones" theme song.

Seasons 1-6 were the best because of how the theme song was composed. Seasons 1-4 was my favorite, along with 5 and 6. Seasons 7 & 8 were not as good as that the show was in the latter episodes.

Yeah, Seasons 1-6 were good too!!! I also like Season 7 as well but Season 8 was a little less good, What about Cannon? Did you like all the seasons, cuz I know you like all the themes.

Give another listen to the Season 7 opening theme. I think it's the best one. It features the bass and drums, with lots of drum rolls.
