People who think Phoenix would be a bad prosecutor fail to realize that Phoenix is not only the defense attorney for his client, but also a prosecutor towards the real killer, AND a one-man detective team who finds the entire truth of the crime all in 3 days.
He's so good, in fact, that he one did it in a single day, only the trial one at that, while being an amnesiac, if he had the full support of the police and the system (in their universe it seems that unless you can prove someone else did it, the defendant is automatically guilty) he would be unstoppable!
Jeez, Phoenix, why you gotta be so ruthless?! But seriously, that was hilarious! I was expecting Phoenix to fumble because he's so used to being defense, but I freaking love how everyone agrees that Phoenix is just too good and should be forbidden from the Prosecutor's desk.
People forget that in cases Phoenix actually does everything- evidence and arguments FOR his clients and AGAINST the killer. Not only against the killer as if it's been found- no even HE has to find the suspect/s
It’d actually be pretty cool if there was some case where we had to pretend to be a prosecutor and cover for Edgeworth like how he was an attorney in T&T Maybe some sleazy defense like Kristoph that forges evidence that we have to disprove to keep it a turnabout Idk I just think it could be a fun twist for a one-off case
This needed a spoiler warning about chapter four of phoenix wright ace attorney (the first game) because i didn't know manfred von karma was the one who killed edgeworth's father and im on day 2 of imvestigaion

i think gumshoe is more useful, he gives you evidence and trys to cooperate with you (most of the times)
