That didn't seem like he was Danish. I'm from Norway and Danes seem to be very scared of interaction. I myself can say this is true for Norwegians too. We don't talk to strangers.
All depends on where in Denmark you are I would say. But yeah Danes are USUALLY kinda scared of interaction. But it all depends, I'd say especially depending on their work. I work as a waiter, and I try to always be interactive with people
Black in Denmark... :P I can tell you, the blacker you are, the less racism you're gonna run into in Denmark. Because there is racism here, but it's mainly aimed toward the Middle Eastern appearance. And maybe the very stereotypical Somali people, as their appear in films like Captain Phillips. But Africans are generally very much liked here.
Tegnet to tell you the truth I’d say I’ve experienced/ observed a mixed bag of reactions. Majority are neutral, some are quite nice and others quite demeaning. Either way, racial discrimination or xenophobia is mental incompetence. Especially when the internet exists
@@WaceraMurage , oh, please. They are afraid og the word "black" or being called "racists". Try being WHITE and FOREIGN, when every drunk acts "superior", just 'cause he is "germanic". And NOTHING prevents anybody to say what they want - we are the same race.
@@AlexxJ.Perhaps some are afraid to say black. I was in Small Town Denmark last year and some.old.guy, upon hearing my accent that I was from USA, asked me (white passing) what I think of "all the black people in America". I was a little surprised, not at the racism, but at the question. I grew up in a diverse area. Asking me my opinion on black people is like asking me my opinion on the sky being blue. ...um...it's always been this way so it never occured to me to even have an opinion on these things. I think I replied to the man saying that I was cool with "people".
@@treefrog101; BLACK is the COLOUR. It is just a fact: some people do have BLACK skin, some have brown, yellow, pinkish what ever. He was asking your opinion on BLM and vandalism.
@@AlexxJ. Could have just asked about BLM and Vandalism rather than just ask me about "black people" as a whole. 🤣 This guy's English was definitely good enough for such a question.
I was spat on the feet in Norrebrø!! But by a Turkish not a Dane.... Denmark is nice if you stick to your lane , smile, say hi but stick to your lane ... just interact with close people
Oh damn, you’d expect better in Copenhagen. Sorry about that. I guess ignorant bogans are everywhere 😒 Hope you don’t mind me asking, are you also black? Apart from when I’m driving, I’m totally against sticking to any lanes. Especially “lanes” in societal constructs
Nå, fedt! Det er bedre, siger jeg sema 😉 You’re teaching me 🙂 I’ve only lived in Horsens this whole time and would wonder if it’s better in Cph Why did you move to Berlin? Do you like Germany more btw?
You have the most pleasant voice😁
W Anderson thank you kindly 😊
Where are you from? Your accent?
I’m from Nairobi, Kenya 🙂
You?

So how the hell do you make friends then?

It’s beautiful. I enjoy seeing all the nationalities. It’s the racism I hate.
It must be frustrating. There’s always something in the news that highlights it
