Teleporters Buff: they keep whatever Item you are holding on. (so your current Slot ONLY) for Inverse Specifically: Unless you have a Key or lockpicker as the teleported Item on hand, the game can't send you BEHIND a locked door.

Seeing as this is a game made by one man, that second one is kind of hard to code I think. But in theory, yes, that would make the game better
This game is risk, if you inverse in you take the risk you're locked in. Teleport out if necessary
@@thymenwaterman8672just check if there is a path through the hallways that doesn't require you to pass through a closed blast door, locked door, or spider (or ignore spiders, just for funsies). the only problem is that i'm not sure there's a non-brute-force way to calculate this. You could start by picking a spot and pathfinding to the entrance, or create a lookup table of possible teleport locations that stores each map piece's viability.
some games benefit from the so-called "bs factor", so getting teleported behind the closed door could be a good thing for the game
I think it would be fun if it did teleport items with you... except just like the players:
Randomly scattered across the map and you gotta find them to use them.
Maybe with a limit to how far away from you can they get scattered.
I think it would fit with the general "BS factor" like the commenter above me said, while still allowing inverse teleporter to work with items.
Couple additional notes/questions from someone who is much worse lol.
1. Did you guys use crouch sprinting at all? This makes dealing with dogs significantly easier. For me it is the cheesiest thing I'm willing to do besides maybe killing dogs through the ship door (which feels justified considering how often I die to them clippling through the wall and its pretty risky).
2. Rend is by far the best moon imo as well. Heres some rend details not covered in the video
-The cabin has saved me from giants before and you can just about sprint back to the ship from the cabin in one stamina bar if you're not too weighed down.
-The distance to get back is a blessing and a curse. Its great to have room to maneuver around monsters but takes a really long time to haul back heavy loads. Once you find $400 worth of scrap someone should start confirming immediately.
-Nutcrackers are the beehive equivalent of high tier moons in terms of being an extra source of high value scrap if you have the skills to deal with them. Their spawn rate on rend is almost reason enough to crown it the best of the paid tier moons.
-Thumpers and turrents dont spawn and landmines have a massively reduced spawn rate on rend. Dine feels significantly harder primarily for this reason.
-Rend can't flood, but stormy is worse than eclipsed imo due to the long travel distances which make bringing back heavy metal loads miserable and since you spend more time outside there is higher likelihood to death by random lightning strikes.
-You generally dont have to go as deep on rend to find good loot compared to dine and titan.
-Rend almost never get facility (I've only seen it happen twice) which makes it extremely predictable and consistent compared to titan which seems to get the mansion layout 1 in 5 days for me (mansion is terrible on titan btw). Furthermore, without no turrents and almost no landmines the facility layout is not bad at all on rend.
-Im going to dieagree with the inverse verdict, but just for rend (and march). It tends to put people very close to main, and with the lack of turrents the only threat is locked doors. I think jt can actually be a big time save and importantly allows for looting early in the morning before monsters spawn in. I predict that the inverse will eventually be considered meta especially if rend remains the best moon. On Dine and titan however there are entrance options closer to the ship and turrents, landmines, and bigger map sizes increase the risk to the point I dont think it's worth it.
All that said rend is the best map but I still play dine and titan just to mix it up.
3. Two more ways to deal with giants (which are still currently OP)
-Have a player lead them away then teleport them right as theyre getten eaten
-My favorite way is to go on top of the ship and aggro them to you. You should be able to move them away from the ships entrance and this will work with two giants. Just stay away from the edge of the ship and they shouldn't be able to grab you.
4. Coulheads are the most OP indoor monster atm not because they're dangerous on their own but because they make you pretty helpless to other monsters. Heres some tips
-They take a while to get through closed (normal) doors. I use this all the time when finding my way out if I have one me. By closing multiple doors betwern you and it and getting some distance you can go back to looting for a while without having to worry about it.
-You can outrun a coilhead if you're not too heavy. Be ready to look back when your stamina runs out though.
But yeah, great video. One of the best I've seen on this game.
Crouch sprinting???
@@errorphase Spam the crouch button while sprinting and you can run completely silently (for your entire stamina bar). Dogs are basically not a threat at all. You can just run right by them or yell at them and run way around them. It also makes it survivable if you are being chased by a giant/mimic and have a dog in the way. I currently have crouch binded as right click to make this easier to do.
We didn't know about crouch sprinting until after the run but even then we didn't want to use it. We tried to stand on the ship to get giant aggro but it doesn't seem to be reliable but we did use the cabin a lot (or at least I did)
@@ChaosCube464 Gotcha. I hope crouch sprinting stays in the game but it should drain the stamina bar twice as fast when you use it. That's interesting that standing on top of the ship to aggro giants didn't work well for you. I've only done it a handful of times (it's not that often you need to do it and half the time you need it they're too close to the ship so you die when trying to get up the ladder). One time I did it I was able to keep two giants where I wanted them for about 4 in game hours (like from 8PM till takeoff).

I had just rewatched the first episode this morning and thought, “man I want to see the other episode”
heres a fact 20:04 all though he was locked behind locked doors that aparatus room has a glitch you see if you fall out of the world you get teleported to main entrance 90% occasionally falling to your death. if you crouch under the bar next to the aparatas and walk backwards and stand up it clips you though the wall teleporting you to main entrance

One little thing to consider is that the bigger the map the lower the chance is of you get hit by a random lightning(not targetted).

I feel like the dev should include something special if you reach quota 30 somehow. Supposedly the company hires workers for one season, about 90 days. Obviously this is space so it could be different, but it would be a cool easter egg.

As much as I love the funny montages I really really love your planned out runs that work hard. Also all the clicky item obtain/drops.
Wonder if vannilla Quota record will cool down for a bit now, since it's mostly just rolls - actually fulfilling the 12k+ quota would mean getting like >20% more loot on every moon ? i think something like that. I think V50 is meant to be a big update though, and most people anticipate a change to rend or a change-by-proxy (since otherwise a straight rend nerf would mean WR will stand for quite a while, whilst skill was much lower when titan was even better than rend is now in earlier versions).
Some modded etc. runs could be interesting though, mostly in terms of amount of people WR runs. Like with 12 people decent chance you could full clear most moons.

this was very interesting to watch! i was very surprised that assurance wasn't brought up as an option;
me and 3 other friends are trying to break the record too on full vanilla, and we were consistently getting 550+ loot on assurance for the first three days--our last day on assurance giving us a whopping 717 dollars, giving us a lot of money to purchase equipment and go to rend!
by the end of the first 3 days, we had 1997 total only from assurance, after selling we had 1121 left in the ship 🤯💥💥
it has gone much better compared to march or vow or anywhere else, and is a lot safer + smaller map! i highly recommend assurance at the start, and then moving to rend :D
