Installed Zorin OS 17 smoothly! Upgraded to Pro too. Thank you for showing how to install and uninstall cause later I realized I didn't need a lot of space in Zorin. Very helpful video!
Hi, what about grub or similar? i dont want to press any key to enter to a specific OS on boot order, i just want a menu to select OS on machine startup. Is that possible?
To resolve WiFi issues on Zorin OS, boot into Windows, disable Fast Boot in Power Options, and check for Secure Boot in BIOS Settings-disable it if enabled. Finally, boot into Zorin OS and test the WiFi. I forgot about internet is required on installation or not.
@@TechJarves If this problem comes to me , then just disabling fast boot will help ? Cause I have no secure boot option 😔, or should I simply switch to zorin 16.3 if it have no problem ? Pls update ?
Yes, many users on the Zorin forum have reported similar battery drainage issues; try installing 'tlp' for improved performance. Also, consider calibrating the battery.
Linux Is Known For Being Light-Weight And Resource-Efficient, So Swap Partitions Might Seem Unnecessary In My Opinion, Because I'm Wondering If A Swap Partition Is Truly Necessary And I Have To Worry About My RAM Filling Up And Needing To Use Swap Space, Wouldn't It Be Better To Just Stick With Windows?
He didn't in stall it properly you yet Grub boot loader the PC boots normally then you just select windows or Zorin or after few seconds it auto boots to main system selected no need for F12 boot menu
