Hope the pilot knows about the video and is proud of having realised the best crosswind approach I have ever seen. Truely awesome!! Nice video, mate...
That. I must say. Was one of the fantatic displays of pilot skill I have seen on youtube so far. Yet I would give up everything I have in this world to be in the same position that pilot was in.
Absolutely awesome job, in really shitty but not unusual conditions at Leeds in the freaky little barbie jet. Clocked 1200 hours shoehorned into these machines but thankfully never had to face conditions quite as tasty as this. Great job guys. Textbook crosswind approach and landing.
Your video reports this spectacular landing in a way so the viewer can understand - very nicely done! Even if we would like to have more "wheels" at the end.
I was caught in this storm on the a1 in my Truck. nearly blown over three times. Been searching for this clip since I saw it on the news. Spectacular flying.
That is rising above adversity... Fair enough, I know sweet F.A. about piloting, but anyone can see that the pilot did a superb job, and nailed a proper landing during really nasty conditions.. Top marks, fella That's real flying, and why the pilots get paid what they do..
holy hell. i mean...HOLY FREAKIN HELL! I own a very small plane and I won't go out with more than 8 knots direct cross. That landing was a freakin thing of beauty. Great skills. Damn!
its due to winds.A plane always land into the wind when ever possible, but the wind isnt always blowing strait over the runway. so in order for the plane to stay lined up, they have to turn the nose into the wind to keep strait, and right before touchdown, use rudder to straiten back up. If a plane flew straight to the runway with wind blowing at a 45 degree angle, then the plane would be pushed off coarse. Look up Cross wind landings on youtube
Whoo, i really like flying, I'm wanna become a pilot etc. But when I would be in this plane as passenger I would freak out i think:P Looked bumpy. Very cool vid!!
A perfect example of why an auto-pilot coupled approach will never replace the human pilot. The pilot obviously had to adjust second by second to constantly changing wind dynamics.
trying to answer your question, your headache could be somehow normal depending on the number of take offs and flights you've experienced. i am a glider pilot and during my first 10 flights or so, I've been experiencing headache and a bit of nausea, but later i found that it was kinda normal due to the fact that the brain was not familiar with the new sensation of "not holding on to something stable" such as walking on earth. later that proved to go away so don't worry. you should be fine :)
We 'crabbed' into Houston one afternoon with a couple of hops on the landing. This video is crosswind landing perfection. Thanks for the share
The best crosswind landing I've seen yet. No doubt he's got skill.
Hope the pilot knows about the video and is proud of having realised the best crosswind approach I have ever seen. Truely awesome!! Nice video, mate...
Beautifully done. All in a day's work for the regional jet guys. Videos like this are why they deserve more than 20k the first year....
From one 145 driver to another, kudos Capt KB :)
top notch landing!! pilot judged the wind perfectly, and even made a centerline touchdown!
Wow, that sure is some amazing flying, perfect timing straightening it up! Good job!
That. I must say. Was one of the fantatic displays of pilot skill I have seen on youtube so far.
Yet I would give up everything I have in this world to be in the same position that pilot was in.
Wow, that takes some serious scills from the pilots side. Touchdown was also veeery smooth, nice job!
Damm that was a hell of a landing. If I had been in there I would be writing my will at that point..Kudos to that pilot man!
100% respect for the pilot. It takes skill and talent to do that.
Skilled pilot! You can say that again!
You have my admiration!
Superior airmanship....alot of guys would have gone missed.....great flying...great video
Very good! Give him a medal for his courage. He showed what a pilot is made of.
Excellent job by the pilot. Quite a strong crosswind right there! :)

You took the words right out of my mouth so I'll post them as a response to yours. That one had me shivering.
wow that was incredible!! thanks for posting, pilot is awesome!!!
Wow, I think I'd have decided to go around about 5 times in that descent! Excellent pilot!
Strong cross wind and wind shear nice landing captain!
That was pure stick and rudder...beautiful airmanship!!
Absolutely! And the 145 is a brilliant piece of kit. Really enjoy flying it. Unfortunately they're being phased out from this July.. :(
Amazing landing! Great crosswind landing!
You can't see it's making a crosswind landing untill it lines up for the runway :P Awesome!
Amazing landing - Almost looked like a jump jet landing on the spot!
wooooow amazing piloting!!heavy crosswind whit a perfect landing!!passenger have to pay him a drink! =) great job man!!
Cross wind, and shear wind, very nice landing !
I was on an EMB 145 doing much the same thing as this one. Hairy ride!!! I love flying but that night I was VERY glad to be getting off that plane!
Very gusty and windy indeed :)...cool video
When you land at Leeds/bradford you aplaud the pilot, always
i bet the pax were glad to get off that flight. Amazing capture
Very good correction and making the centreline...pilots got skill mate.
this pilot feels what he does and is in total control.
holy crap, the passengers must be really glad they had such a good pilot!
I was caught in this storm on the a1 in my Truck. nearly blown over three times. Been searching for this clip since I saw it on the news. Spectacular flying.
Awesome flying and control ! Definitely a Top Gun Elite pilot !!! God Bless You !!!
VERY skillful approach and smooth touchdown. Really nice...
Excellent piece of landing. Well done that man
Very good landing! Also very windy!:)
now thats a real x wind landing and a real skilled pilot
That is rising above adversity... Fair enough, I know sweet F.A. about piloting, but anyone can see that the pilot did a superb job, and nailed a proper landing during really nasty conditions.. Top marks, fella
That's real flying, and why the pilots get paid what they do..
Beautiful I bet it was even smoother than a normal landing ;)
ZOMFG!!! How much wind is that?
That must be a super pilot!
thats a hell of a strong crosswind....exelent job by the pilots
give that pilot a hug. amazing
I was on this particular flight into Leeds on Friday 25th January. Great relief when it hit the tarmac!!!
What a cool airplane!!!! Very well made!!!!
Demasidos vientos cruzados; excelente maniobra por un excelente piloto. Felicitaciones Capitan
That was a smooth one. Pretty good pilot
holy hell. i mean...HOLY FREAKIN HELL! I own a very small plane and I won't go out with more than 8 knots direct cross. That landing was a freakin thing of beauty. Great skills. Damn!
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC FLYING!!!
There is an art to crosswind landings and this guy has it down to a T.
Holy piss that was good. Whole time I'm envisioning it hitting the ground sideways but wow. Respect.
Looked like some heavy cross winds there. Good job.
the only word i can say is respect. just respct for this wonderful landing!

absolutely excellent pilot!!well done!
That actually almost looked like an RC plane coming into land, cause they get buffetted around a lot more.
This shows how good pilots are these days!
that was just wicked!!! amazing landing!!
Whoo, i really like flying, I'm wanna become a pilot etc. But when I would be in this plane as passenger I would freak out i think:P Looked bumpy. Very cool vid!!
My god! Looks like a 30 knot crosswind. That's one skilled pilot. I'd have opted for an alternate airfield being the wuss I am.
I am glad I was NOT a passenger on that bumpy ride. Great job on the landing!
Good effort captain ! Thumbs up from me '45's can be a bit bumpy as they say that was done very well!
it is indeed a great landing!!
tip-toeing all the way down
great skills!!
What a masterpiece of landing!!!
textbook maneuver. hats off to the pilot.
I dunno if it was a greaser, but it was a helluva good landing considering the crosswind and windshear!
it´s amazing the way, the pilot take control of the aircraft when they land!!!!
strong crosswind there. Nice landing under the circumstances
Fantastic work, excelent pilot.
British Pilots rock!
amazing landing i must say! what else?
I flew into LBA last year. Freakin' awesome! Twice as good as PIK's crosswinds and without the windshear lol!!!
danm !!! That was sick, I would like to reach that level of skills someday.
I would fly with that crew anytime, props !!!!
The pilot did a great job!
Great flying ! Classy !
Great pilots, in such difficult conditions to make such a good landing is a great achievement.

wow great landing and great pilots !!! nice video
WOW I agree what great skill for that pilot. Excellent job for those condtions.
WOW! That was incredible!!
You are welcome, my friend. You will find that no matter how much of the science behind flying you uncover, aircraft will always be fascinating.
He had to wrestle that one down. Nice video.
RESPECT FOR THAT PILOT!!
That's bloody incredible!!
look up cross wind landings on youtube, there normal since the wind isnt all ways going to be blowing strait over the runway.
Nice landing skipper!
Superbly done - excellent.
Outstanding job man!!
I'm just glad I wasn't on that flight, I may have shat my pants :-)
This is why flybe is grate :D
no wonder why there one of Europes best airline :)
thats one heck of a pilot!
thats is superb...a crosswind with a perfect leveled landing... deserved to be a private pilot... I bet he's paid a hefty good money...
best crosswind landing... EVER!!!
A perfect example of why an auto-pilot coupled approach will never replace the human pilot. The pilot obviously had to adjust second by second to constantly changing wind dynamics.

I don't want to take anything away from this pilot, but - on top of being good ... he was also very lucky to 'catch it' just right.
Outstanding landing at the end.
impressive!! amazing job by the pilots!!!
That was unbelievable! =]
