Whoa! That is really an ambitious undertaking Martin. I think personally I would have converted it into an electric drive wheel barrow by now. That magnetic parts tray is a great Idea, got to find one of those too. I'm going broke watching these videos, Bought a little 10 gal air compressor, new wrench tool kit, trouble light, paint gun, impact ratchet, ultra sonic tank for cleaning carbs, Oh yeah, bought a new house with a garage to put it all in, get it on Dec 12th, so I'll be moving soon. Happy motoring Brian
Hiya Martin another great video mate... I don't suppose you know if the main clutch nut has a left or right handed thread? I've tried to get mine off and really struggling. Also can't seem to be able to hold the clutch while trying to undo the nut... Take care speak soon Glenn.
Hi Glenn, I think it is a normal thread so undo anticlockwise. Normally an air wrachet would do it no problem but if you don't have one you could try something like an oil filter wrench something like www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-2-Socket-Car-Van-Oil-Filter-Remover-Removal-Strap-Wrench-Tool-Mechanics-/371194350211?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item566ce84a83 to hold the housing whilst you undo the nut. Hope this helps Cheers Martin
You can't beat a bit of tinkering lol. Nice working on things you can actually repair instead of today's equipment controlled by computers. Cheers Martin
You not wrong, the right tool for the right job makes all the difference... I tried to make my own seal driver once, three bloody days and several sets of seals later still didn't get it to work. I finally borrowed a actual seal driver and completed it in 5, you don't need paint or hydrographics for that case, that case is crying out for some Teflon.

Great job Martin .. I was wondering if that crank might be loose causing it to leak pressure ! I know it will be right when you get done with it ..
Yes Shawn, the crank seals are shot due to the bearing play. At least I know why it wouldn't start now.

good work martin, whats that cleaning solution you use
just a standard degreaser from ebay.

Bonjour où avez vous achetez la boîte magnétique pour les visses et autres petites pièces comme des écrous ?
Je l'ai eu sur Ebay
Is that a Challenge Extreme tool box in the background?
I don't know, I didn't look at the label, I got it from an auction.
I see we are cut from the same cloth, I love to see what makes things work, Thanks for the video, Take care.
