@@fpawluszmtg Yeah it is cool interaction to keep an eye on. If you have lets say 3 mishras you can animiate two of them to count as creature and artifact and the last one as a land. You will keep all of them.
Yeah, that's awesome! Will definitely keep it in mind in the future. It's funny that I had never noticed this, since I have certainly cast a Cataclysm or two in the last couple of months, hahaha!@@kokYnity
Have you played this deck with smokestack maindeck over pyroclasm? Maybe stronger vs slower decks, midrange, and the mirror, worse vs faster decks and elves.
I have not, but Smokestack doesn't answer any problem the deck has. Also the mono G deck played Smokestack alongside cards like Exploration and Wild Growth, which are fine things to sac to the Stax. This Gr list doesn't really have any bad cards.
2 elves matches vs a deck with MD EQ and pyroclasm, rough luck to your opponents. Good meta call though. With all the mishra/port/waste/treetops running around with various splashes, web is very easy to run multiples of right now in PM.
Yeah, Elves and Goblins are two decks that run over the Mono G version of the deck (what I used as a template to build this list). Both matchups seem largely in my favor, so work paid off! I agree that Tsabo's Web is probably the most underplayed sideboard card in Premodern right now. Most decks that could play it should
Don’t you think it may be better to play something like 2 Stone Rains instead of 2 of the green ones to make Cabal Therapy and Meddling Mage a bit worse, even though it makes your Red Elemental Blast play a bit harder to achieve? Teferi’s Response is also a quite problematic card… Several times in this matches Mox Diamond was key or would have been a great draw. I’m not sure about playing just 3.
I talked about this in the intro of my previous video: it's much easier to make 1GG with this mana base than 2R considering what your spell suite is. If you want to protect your spell with Pyroblast then making 1GGR is drastically easier than making 2RR. Stone Rain also gets Hydroblasted. Mox is good. I like playing 3 and don't want the 4th. If you want the full playset then go ahead and play it!
This deck is awesome but I hope you will keep bringing the Cataclysm Oath sometimes! Question: how does multiple oath interaction work? They all triggers and they resolve even if the opponent doesn’t control more creatures than you anymore?
Oath also checks on resolution, so multiple triggers will go on the stack, but you will only resolve them as long as your opp has at least 1 more creature than you.
You can respond to cataclysm by animating a mishra/treetop and keep it as a creature.
WOW! You just totally blew my mind, hadn't considered that!

This deck is super sweet, congrats on the win
Thank you! Deck is spectacular!
Have you tried some number of powder kegs to help with 12/12 and web? The Aaron Dicks UB psychanought seems like it could be played a lot more
When I played my latest list (the one I won the event in LA with) I was running one Crumble, which was really good.

Love this content
Happy to hear you're enjoying it!
Sir that match against elves was insane, you may have cut some mountains but you ran red hot
Hahaha thank you

This deck looks almost unfair.
It's been feeling extremely good for me. Since I ran into UW Dreadnought that I haven't been winning so much and so consistently!
Deck is great but I hate it. It's between anti Magic and unfairness. My poor goblins and elves getting earthquaked makes my heart break
Deck's great... and I love it
