Blaise, what caused Dart to become immobile (sp?) the entire battle? Was it a "storyline ailment"?

I had Miranda at Dragoon lvl 5 and took two of them out on the first hit.
makes the game too easy, in only use it when i really really need (mostly when im near a 10 minute mark)
