- This walk in Glen Spean takes in the two Munros of Beinn a' Chaorainn and Beinn Teallach. It was a cold day due to the north wind and a sprinkling of overnight snow made the underfoot conditions rather slippy.
A super day leaving the impression that winter is just around the corner.
Another good video Charlie. The forestry at the start of the route is much less than when I did it in 2001. There was an awful section through a firebreak of black mud. I recall my black and white collie coming out of the forest just black! Your video, as always, brings me lovely memories. Thank you so much. By the wayI love your commentary....informative but concise, just the way it should be.

Hi Paul, I know what you mean about the poor weather. To be expected I suppose but it does get tedious. Just needs to get colder and clear the skies then we can complaint about the windchill... lol. Cheers, Charlie.

Great scenery. I think that's one of the Munros that I have not done. I've been subscribed for ages and enjoy doing Munros from my armchair.

@@charliemccartney7055 Hi Charlie I didn't intend to do Beinn Teallach however after dropping down to footpath there was a pretty direct route up so I decided to climb it,was strange that route you did without the trees or climbing the stile! Climbed Arthur's Seat 4 times on Wednesday including Crow Hill had a fantastic day but extremely busy, I had my ascent to myself before reaching tourist path! Magic Charlie. Beinn Teallach is dwarfed compared to the other Munro. Good bit of height lost. Great pair of hills. Thanks again Charlie
Hi Scot, It was just great to be out without getting soaked. Beinn Teallach is certainly the wee brother of its neighbour. It's a like Stob Ban when your looking south to the grey corries which is hard to believe is a Munro when viewed from distance. Cheers, Charlie.

Love those November colours! Is it normal for the plantation clearing to be left in such a state?
Hi Michelle, It's certainly a great time of year for the rich Autumn colours with the reduction in the vegetation makes the walking a bit easier. Yes, the plantations aren't pretty when the trees are taken out but it's surprising just how quickly the debris breaks down and the new plants take hold. Many thanks for watching. Cheers, Charlie.

Hi Dave, It's about 4 years the last time we were in the track and as you saw at lot of forestry ongoing with trees out and a larger area getting prepared for planting. It was a clod day but very enjoyable. Cheers, Charlie.

Hello, We were luck there was still a couple of gaps to get through as we might not have gotten over it.... lol. Must be money in trees as they have certainly increased the area and have it ready for the planters to move in. Cheers, Charlie.
