I’ve been enjoying mug omelettes.Just 2-3eggs, a little bit of double cream (heavy cream), some cheese, season with salt and pepper, then microwave for 2min. You can add any bits you fancy too, chopped tomatoes, peppers, herbs, ham, bacon... whatever I fancy and have in the fridge. I also sometimes do scrambled eggs by adding more cream, skipping the cheese and stirring halfway through cooking.
My wife and I have just started keto and have had good results after only 2 weeks, but we decided to look online for some better recipes. We found your channel and it is brilliant .. it is very well presented and you provide easy-to-follow recipe ideas. Regards from the UK

She works nightshift and being a diabetic always got up at lunchtime for some food, then went back to sleep again until about 5:30 for tea. Since doing keto she eats breakfast and stays asleep all day. She lost about 10kg and her insulin levels arre much lower .. sometimes she doesn't take it at all. We are going to start again 'for real' in the next few days ... we even had cabbage soup for tea last night.
I had a gastric sleeve a few months ago and realized my body could only eat keto because everything else makes me super sick. So simple recipes are a life saver. Thank you for the series.

Thanks for this great video! Just wanted to share my experience and motivate others. I've been obese my entire life. I was at my heaviest after my second child. I've tried all the different diets, low calorie, low fat, vegan, egg diet etc. and none of them worked... Each time after losing weight I regained it back. I always felt hungry and could not resist my favourite treats. I would often find myself binging after work as I was too stressed. I was blaming myself for not having enough of willpower and not being able to resist. I had a hard time trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle. However, very recently, after intense research, going through failure and learning from my mistakes, I got to know that weight loss is far more complex than I thought before. It’s not enough to lower your calories and expend more than you take in. When you reduce your calories, your body increases hunger and cravings. When you over exercise, your body increases hunger and cravings. What you lose, you soon regain back. So, what should we do then if this doesn’t work? Simple, stop focusing on calories. Once I shifted my focus on what I eat, instead of how much I eat, everything changed. And that's when I started seeing results! I lost over 120 lbs in around 8 months and successfully maintained it for over 3 years now. I know I'm being a pain in the ass now, but you've inspired some ideas I can share regarding eating keto simply and on a budget. I save all my bacon grease, leftover oils from pan frying anything, juices from baked meats like chicken and pork, and put them all together, or separately, in little dishes and put them in the fridge. Then I can reuse them for next time. They are very flavorful because each time you cook you get different flavors from the meats, oils, and spices. It's a new experience every time. And saves alot on cooking fats. Remember, in the old days, our ancestors saved all their 'lard' to use for future cooking. They had to. A jar of animal lard was always on hand and very healthy and filling. A keto dream!

WOW! I have been on a low carb diet before and although I did well I quickly lost interest but not this time! I started Sahel's plan of recipes on Saturday and find the recipes so delicious that I look forward to not only eating but preparing the recipes! It's the great flavors that keep me wanting more! Love this!!! Fell off my keto diet due to the stress of this year and gained all my weight (plus a few) back. But that’s life in 2020. I’ve felt overwhelmed trying to get motivated to cook and meal plan and meal prep again-but these are such simple meals. Just what I need. Supermarkets here are stocked again, but still trying to avoid going out much with cases spiking again, and anyway, right now I just need things as simple as possible-these meals are perfect. I'd love to see a video on easy ways to make keto sauces inexpensively. As well as keto 'breading', to coat meats like chicken, to replace a breaded coating. So far I found that if you finely ground pork rinds (very inexpensive and come with spicy flavors and ZERO carbs) this works good. (Place pork rinds in a big ziplock bag, seal, and roll with a rolling pin until they are a fine crumble). If you can afford fine ground almond flour, also zero carbs, you can add some to the pork rinds. Dip your meat in beaten eggs, maybe add some heavy whipping cream or coconut cream to the eggs if you want. Dip any meat into the eggs, coat with the rind/flour mixture with spices, cook in frying pan on preheated med/high heat and some kind of oil, and you have crispy fried chicken or whatever meat. YUM! Finding keto friendly sauces is hard. Usually found at specialty stores and expensive (like Barbeque sauces, chinese style sauces, etc). I wonder how we can make our own tasty sauces easier at home with simple ingredients? Also, a video about some interesting spices to make meals more exciting would be a big help. Staying on keto means not being bored with your food and being able to afford to make good food.

Dang! I really can't wait until the herbs in the garden are up and growing well enough to harvest. The parsley on the eggs looked so wonderful and fresh tasting. I'd probably add some fresh dill as well, just because it's a favourite. And I'd add some finely minced shallot and sage to the chicken burger, or just dehydraded minced onion and dried sage. This is really great - finally something simple to follow! For my lunch I sometimes use mackerel instead of tuna. And I finely chop celery instead of cabbage - really nice and crunchy. I also include mashed avocado sometimes. Its delicious and incredibly quick to make. Thank you SO much for posting !

Looks great! Eggs look perfect! I add a little dill and sour cream or the parsley with a splash of hot sauce mmm. Tuna looked yummy. The broccoli though, the recipe idea sounds delicious, but I think I'll mix the cheese in with the broccoli before putting it in the ramekin. I can't stand globs of cheese like that, then by the time you get to the middle the cheese is gone and you're eating plain broccoli. The winner of this though has got to be the chicken and olive burgers. I have never thought of that, but I will definitely be trying it out with a little sour cream. Thank you. Stay safe.

A local Grocery Store sells Fancy Burger Patties. One of them has Goat Cheese and Black Olives(Turkey Burger) and another has Blue Cheese and Bacon(Beef). They are always coming up with new varieties. So Good!😋😋

Looks great! Eggs look perfect! I add a little dill and sour cream or the parsley with a splash of hot sauce mmm. Tuna looked yummy. The broccoli though, the recipe idea sounds delicious, but I think I'll mix the cheese in with the broccoli before putting it in the ramekin. I can't stand globs of cheese like that, then by the time you get to the middle the cheese is gone and you're eating plain broccoli. The winner of this though has got to be the chicken and olive burgers. I have never thought of that, but I will definitely be trying it out with a little sour cream. Thank you. Stay safe.

I never thought of using green olives to flavor chicken burgers. Can't wait to try this, though I'll be using ground turkey because that's what I have.

A local Grocery Store sells Fancy Burger Patties. One of them has Goat Cheese and Black Olives(Turkey Burger) and another has Blue Cheese and Bacon(Beef).
They are always coming up with new varieties. So Good!😋😋
Never had cabbage with tuna, looks terrifically crunchy. Those cheesy broccoli bakes look comfortably delish. Haven't had ground chicken before, thank you for upping my game Sahil! Love the simplicity of these. 🤘
You can always just sautee the cabbage if you don't like the crunch.

The chicken burger I did a variation of it using olives and saute mushrooms and made a sandwich using big Portobello Mushrooms for buns
