Nice Motorcycle! I used to own 1976 Kawasaki 400 I bought for $300 back in my high school days, drove it around even during upper Michigan winters. Drove it all the way down Upper Michigan to the Florida Keys in 1978. Brings Back Great memories Brother 🔱🐸
Thanks brother, yeah it's nice having a bike at this point in life that you don't have to drive every day. Like you been there done that earlier in life and man riding those bikes every day can get tiring!
You're welcome and thanks for the nice comments! Those lovely Italian bikes are always fun to look at, and fortunately by that era the Italians worked out the kinks.
Beautiful video. I agree with your appreciation of the 996. I own a 2001 996. I wonder how the potential of a 996 can be utilised or enjoyed on the roads of California. I live in Germany. Full throttle.
@@pidderlung5160 yea I feel very fortunate that California has so much open roadway. It does make cycling more enjoyable for sure. Thanks for the comment!
@@JohnG-gu5wo fair enough, but it is nice that the 996 sorted out some of the issues the 916 experienced. So for that alone I thank the boys in Bologna!

Love the sound of that Ducati, it brings back so many memories. It still looks and sounds magnificent. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful bike, great roads, you killed the video with the music though, that engine gives us all the music we'll ever need. Happy riding Amigo.
@@efccjh thanks brother appreciate the feedback!
@@efccjh and yah the music was a little lame

@@Ducatirati you are 100% correct, when you prove them correctly they move fast.
916 is the icon.
True enough, if you could find one. For the rest of us mere mortals the 996 is an icon!
@@Ncollins99 wasnt being rude , gotta admit 996 is the poor relation to the legend 916

Nice bike but why does it have the slab fairings off a 998?
Thanks, it's my full race faring from back in the day. My painter gave me a killer price on painting 3 piece race faring v the 5 pieces OEM one.
@@Ncollins99 Ahh, I gotcha. Gorgeous bike love it.
@@1fstyota Thanks again!
Viva máximo tamburini ❤
Amen brother!
