    How was your Lost Lands this year?! 👀😊✨

    Watching this back now about to commit to my first Lost Lands in 2025 with a group of us grabbing an RV. Obviously, that means I haven't camped there, but honestly the only festival I've had a bad enough experience where I wouldn't camp again is Roo. Bonnaroo is just way too hot once its 6:30, we would get 2 hours of sleep and then just all hop in the car, blast AC and get as many 15 minute naps as possible for 4 days. Even Elements I would happily camp at again despite all the flooding this year haha

    This was my second year back to LL haven’t been back since the very first year (2017) camped both years - definitely different from the first year being a a lot smaller vs this year 😂 BUT would highly recommend camping bc of bopping where ever you want and music legit goes into the next morning(silent disco) also I showered every day with a pop up changing thing and a shower bag! Worked just as good as a real shower. As far as food goes made pasta salad, ate cold tacos, and hoagies and ate food inside the venue. If you go next year definitely camp! ❤

    Camping is always worth it even with the negatives. Take clothes for all weather since it can get cold at night, take a small propane heater if you feel the need. I've always survived with hot hands and plenty of blankets. Get glamping, easy tent or quiet and you're guaranteed to be close. Take stuff to use to help prop things up flat if you get a hill spot. Shower early or midday and the lines aren't long. The closest I would ever get to not camping would be rv. You couldn't pay me to deal with shuttling or ubering. That's why i don't do city fests. Camping fests only forever and always.

    • @heathergosse
      @heathergosse  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah no, I actually hate dealing with the shuttle/ubers. But i think I’ve come to realize that everyone has to go through at least one negative camping experience to truly appreciate the all the other times. And you learn something new from each camping festival that makes the next time more comfortable & better.

    High key disagree on not camping at LL. The campsite vibes are immaculate , I’ve camped at legend valley for 4 years and never gotten screwed over by the spots. I’ve camped on the hill it’s not that bad and compared to taking the shuttle, camping is so much better!!!

    • @heathergosse
      @heathergosse  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Okay good to know! I guess just like any other camping fest, when in GA, the spot you end up in comes down to luck. I’ve had great camping and not so great camping at other festivals. Another aspect in the camping experience also comes down to how well you’ve prepared. But I agree with you in that camping vibes are immaculate at the end of the day. Hope you had a great Lost Lands 😊

    Been to Lost Lands seven years and GA Camped. Majority of the time it works out, but I come prepared and as early as possible. Only time that really sucked was the year of the race way lol.

    • @heathergosse
      @heathergosse  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Okay, good to know!! But also I had no idea Lost Lands was at a raceway. I assume that was the first year?!

      @@heathergosse lost lands has been at legend valley every year and there's never been a raceway, I think that person is confused lol

    • @jjgrey227
      @jjgrey227 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nah, one year it rained and they were only letting a couple of people in at a time and the sent everyone to a raceway. It took forever to get in there. It took us 9ish hours to get from the Kroger on 600 E Main st. in Hebron to our campsite. Security at the raceway ended up leaving and it was chaos. Since that year they added the gravel to the roads.

    ur so valid for leaving excision; i love bass music but in a wakaan and dnb way and i love genre variety i dont think i could ever do lost lands LOL. You're so brave proud of u girlie

    • @heathergosse
      @heathergosse  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Haha thank you so much! I was actually surprised with the variety of music at LL. The main music was more heavy bass depending on the artist. But the afters stages were mostly house, DNB and wubby wakaan music with the Crater stage being more heavy stuff. I think LL has made more of an effort to diversify their music. I def appreciated that. Although I like Wakaan music more, I loved the size of Lost Lands. I low-key wish Wakaan was larger than that one main stage. But honestly, you should give LL a shot :)

    My group did GA camping this year. It was so hot and dusty. My group got there at 2PM Thursday and still got put in the absolute back of the camping area. Couldn’t cook in the camp site either and it was a long walk to the market area. Stayed in the fest til 3-4 AM every night but still wish we would have done hotels 😅

    • @heathergosse
      @heathergosse  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for sharing your experience. I feel like at one point everyone gets shoved in the way back. I’ve noticed that festivals tend to shuffle people from back to front. I had a friend who was in the first 10 cars into camping at Okeechobee and they put them in the absolute furtherest from the festival entrance. Meanwhile, we rolled up later Thursday and could see the entrance from our camp. But honestly, having a shitty spot one time makes you appreciate future festival camping spots for sure.

      It’s funny you say that because I’m going to an art & music festival today that has a cap of 1k tickets 😆 it’s like a burning man vibe I guess. Camping, one stage, family friendly, lots of artists including fire spinners. It’s called Astronox just outside of Austin, TX! You should look it up! I’m so excited! I love a good mainstream festival but the smaller more intimate festivals are def where it’s at ✨
