Today I will be dying my sisters hair from black to light honey brown.

I had black hair for years I bleached mine back to my natural light brown hair and omg the different in my skin and face I look like a different person x

So she's like a level 6-7 after you bleached her. If you used a cool level 6 or 7 in a demi permanent, it would have toned it down more.

hey girl, it turned out amazing! i noticed you used a different developer for the toner part, can i use the loreal one for toning too or does it have to be the one you used? i just bought everything but didnt get the 2nd developer. hopefully you see this! :)

They recommend that you do use the same one, but its not nessesary! :)
It would’ve probably helped to use color oops on her hair before you started bleaching. That way it could’ve stripped out all the black from the box dye she used! This makes your job & the process so much easier I think. But nonetheless you did a great job lightning it especially as a non professional ☺️

I feel like a semi or permanent hair color would have helped tone the orange a bit more. I saw from a Brad mondo (lol) video that toner doesn't really work on orange hair.
But anyways, i liked the video! Really impressed that you got it all pretty even.. I tried to do it myself and it came out a bit patchy , I hope the color I put on top makes it look better though , fingers crossed 🤞

I think it came out pretty good! When your hair is black it’s really hard to go back to light.. and I think her hair looks a lot like the picture you showed us.. it’s not exactly Carmel light brown or whatever. But it definitely honey golden blond ... it’s a few shades on the red side but it’s No ginger red/ orange like someone said in the comments.. they just hating. Thanks for the help!!

I would’ve done her hair in sections when bleaching so it would’ve came out even, since it’s so long a thick.. It’s blotchy..
