I’m just a kid but I think I’ve got a really good idea for a product that everyone can use. I know you have worked with entrepreneurs and I am wondering if you have any advice on how to physically create a product.
Kids can have some of the greatest ideas. Keep believing in your dream!
can you draw your idea out? also what are the smaller parts that make up your idea? do you know what goal your product is looking to achieve?
if you are capable of breaking it down to its simplest form, you can use software or simply make model to physically represent your idea. just letting you know now that you have a huge knowledge gap to overcome if your goal is physical product creation. you could ask your parents to spend some time near your local university posting ads for engineers to assist you on your journey, but that will require some money and relinquishing some of your claims to your product. glad you are starting early, but have you made sure the product does not already exist?
Need to make a prototype... If you can’t make the prototype yourself, you need to get someone to help you so you can get a patent....

If I remember correctly, years ago you were a big supporter of sending manufacturing to China because of costs. I have heard you say recently in several interviews you are no longer a fan of doing that. The other is being averse to buying Bitcoin mined in China. Bitcoin doesn't even store data on where it was mined from, so how in the world would it split into two asset classes when you cant distinguish between identical coins? This isn't diamond mining at all..

I firmly disagree with the premise that mining origin will at all affect the intrinsic value of any given bitcoin. All that matters is scarcity.

Do business with anyone as long as you're getting a good deal. Just because our government screwed up negotiations doesn't mean they have to cut off the supply chains. Good capitalism doesn't need government power behind it. Anyone can be a good negotiator, as long as their interest is their own self-interest instead of posing as some kind of representative. Remember Lee iacocca? he warned us about this.

I was surprised when Dennis was acting as if "taking care of others after you are set" was odd. Maybe it is a generational thing. But you don't need to make a killing, if you have enough to take care of your family you should help your community. Pay it forward. My favorite story is in his will ben Franklin gave money to Philadelphia and Boston. The money was leant to business upstarts at 6% a year and the growth funded both cities for 200 years.

Blood coin? Like the West is so "clean" and pure
When you have no leverage... as in market share and first to the market... you regulate to make the competition suffer through means of lobbying politicians or black ball them out if there's no means to entry, you really have to be powerful or wealthy to pull that off. For example, China has a majority share in a world currency known as BitCoin and the US was slow to do anything in making themselves number one in that currency, although be it the Federal govt been dealing in crypto currency for a while. SO, how do you gain leverage within the market or taint their majority, be a large govt, like the US, that has weight in forcing sanctions on that country with that major majority that can denounce the US dollar. They, just like the US, will negate anyone that say things about their nation so to me that's a none factor as to why buying into a already power house currency is a win factor that China knew would be a global currency. The US can't allow that plus them owning a large portion of US debt. On a economic global level the huge number of millionaires within China has called for a change in the paradigm of which country will lead when it comes to being King, that is education, industry, and so on. US seem to be losing its grip, because the lack there is in people with funds, on the rest of the world's business. China and other foreign traded companies on many major exchange platforms are being pushed off the table for a majority of the general public to purchase. You have to have, now more than ever, a foreign bank account to even trade within those markets within stocks/ETF.

There are a lot of ways to make crypto pay you to wait, and roll it back in to do it again. Until someone can certify AND SELECT their source of power, there's no way crypto will be able to accommodate Kevin's idealism. All BTC mining is in fact impacted by China, because even when the BTC isn't rewarded to a miner in China, those miners were running to compete.

people are poor, they have rent to pay and their investments must make money. nobody wants to lose money because they are picky about where their bitcoin comes from.

Kevin, I love you but you have no clue about bitcoin mining. When you get your "fresh" coins from the miner, you must realize that in order for you to receive that transaction to your own wallet, another mining pool must solve that hash as well. Every transaction requires a miner to do the work. You have no choice over who mines your transactions. In fact, a mining pool can have thousands of miners contributing hash power, and are highly decentralized. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "VIRGIN COIN" OR "CLEAN COIN."
Now let's say you go to move your bitcoin at a later date, such as when you may rebalance or want to convert to some other asset. Your transaction will require new mining. You will have no control over that miner either. It's decentralized by design. You have no control. The total network runs on the aggregate mining hash rate worldwide.
bitcoin made in china and bitcoin made in sustainable sounds like the biggest rubbish theory i ever heard.
