Hi Mosey, your videos are getting more beautiful every day with the changing trees! I've been watching since the beginning and will be until the finish and have enjoyed your videos so much. You are an amazing hiker. Thank you for sharing your journey!

Great fall colors and very clear sunny day. Funny you having to find the lost boys again. Appears just a fun and beautiful day for you no falls.

Sorry that you are missing some things out of season but thanks for showing us all those lovely fall colours - something new from the usual AT thru-hiker video.

I always walk in the back on my little hikes. My son has OCD and always compares himself. Hopefully when you’re older you won’t care what others think. One of the benefits of old age lol. Gorgeous reflection in pond. 😊❤

"Nose wasn't cold." That's so funny, because two days ago, my new UGQ 10*F quilt arrived and since I have never used a quilt before, I gave it a try last night. I had on a Minus 33 merino wool beanie, and my head stayed plenty warm. It got down to 30*F last night... my nose got a little cold.
Oh! We're back to trail comedy! It's funny how that happens when you're hiking with others. ROFL I'm glad nobody got too lost.
You talk about heat in the 70's, I think I recall you hiking in 90*F heat this summer. I know, people do get climatized to where they're at. Personally, I'd much rather be sweating than freezing.
It looked like another great day for hiking, especially with friends, Mosey!

Cold is good for you. It makes you strong. Strong is good.

Don't worry about setting the pace. You're doing just fine. And the more you mosey, Mosey, the more trail you get to show us. 😊

After watching several folks hike the AT I have made an observation. Taller people with long legs take longer strides and just hike faster than shorter people. Petite women are naturally slower than long-legged folks and comparison can mess with your spirit. I encourage you to just hike your own hike.

Having grown up 5’5” with a dad who’s over 6’ tall I can vouch for that. 😊. Spent my life trying to keep up with him, even now when I’m 50 and he’s 81 and probably just about 6’ tall now. ❤

I don't mind hiking alone but I do like company in camp.
