You have reached the furthest corners of my home. Your methods and style have caught the attention of my teenagers. That generation is hard to reach. When they dont understand mass at church they come home to hear your version. You are definitely a blessing in our home. Thank you.
Father Dave, This is awesome. More priests and ministers need to be like you because you can relate to the younger people people of my son's age that are in their young 20s or younger. Church doesn't start doing stuff like wrapping to Bible lyrics we're going to lose the young after we die who's going to be there then to continue to go to church. Shared it with my Son and Husband. I know this is an old thread. But this past Sunday my wife and I sat in the back at church, St. Margaret of Scotland. I said to my wife, " Look at all the cotton tops, no young people. What's going to happen if we can't get young people to attend mass ? " I'm 75. 😊
Made my day. My husband has dementia and is in the hospital. Very hard visit. And turn you on an lifted my spirits. Thank you Fr Dave a stepping out of box.
Father Dave, my husband died 8 months ago and I have been left alone to do everything alone. He died 2 weeks after our 50th wedding anniversary. I have managed in the house but I walk with a walker and I can't drive. Because of this I cannot get to church each week so I have been watching your mass and Your homilies always relate to me in some way. I get communion once a week when I do not get to church. I try to get someone to drive me but I am basically home every day. You have been a wonderful addition to my prayers. I read the Notre Dame prayer every day which is also uplifting to me. My son went to Notre Dame and played football for Coach Holtz who also has given some good words for meditation. I live in Florida so I cannot get to mass in Jersey. Thank you for your words every week. It gives me a good start to the week.

After attending several online masses over Covid I happened to find you Father Dave and I just knew I was going to love it with just one look at you. You didn’t let me down! After today’s mass with your guitar and one of my fav songs growing up (leaving on a jet plane), I watched your rap with Craigley and loved it. In mass today, You delivered God’s Message with humor, music and authenticity. I really enjoy a few little things I had never heard like the explanation of Why God called Abraham to the alter with Issac. I always thought there was more to that story and couldn’t imagine Abraham’s willingness to strike down his only son. I could never relate to that story, but have new insights now. Thank you. Also, loved the “I-sick” joke. Lol. Thanks so much for you ministry. My son in law has been to your parish as he grew up in Spring Lake, not to far from you. I’m a fan. You now have a new online parishioner and hopefully some day we can meet in person, when I visit Jersey. Bless you and Craigley and your ministry. By the way, interesting name, Craigley” sp???? I absolutely loved this. . Sharing this with my Godson. You have always been an inspiration from the days when we 1st met you as a seminarian to the days when you found yourself back in our parish as its Pastor. You were a lifeline when my recovery kept me from attending services and you suggested I try the televised services when Mass attendance was difficult. It helped during the more difficult & painful days to be able to experience the Liturgy. Just stumbled on this presentation after attending the Solemnity of Mary Mass. Me, the cane & the brace managed fairly well, so hopefully the New Year will see more of me in person. Looking forward to the homilies and lessons you will be sharing in 2020. Happy New Year. So glad St Martha's just popped on my phone about 3 weeks ago. When I walk again God willing, I hope 2 come 2 ur Sunday Mass. I'm a roamin' Catholic: extra-great Mass, will travel! Father Dave, you're awesome! Thank you for helping bring my heart back to the Church where I do NOW feel I belong (I hadn't been to Mass in MANY years and for that I know I need to go to Confession!) I had recently lost my beloved husband and don't have a "home Church", but I've been watching Mass online daily for a few weeks now and praying the Rosary daily also. I was born in Jersey City, but moved to Texas in 2007 to marry my husband. There isn't a Catholic Church in my little town of Blooming Grove (not to my knowledge anyway), but there is one in Corsicana, the next town over...I'll have to check it out, if I stay here in Texas. If not, I may wind up back north in "yankee territory", where it seems Catholicism is more prevalent, and go to my mother's Church in PA. I love the Point Pleasant area, but most of my family in centered in Pa. now, so I guess I'll just have to "attend" your Mass here on TH-cam (thank God for them!)(and YOU!)
