- Day two of Sick Week 2024 started with a sketchy pass at Bradenton Motorsports Park! The 55 was on an AWESOME pass but the previous car had left oil on the top end that no one saw. At about the 1000 foot the back end shot left😳
We also tore the transmission apart, just for fun ya know 😅

You can tell a lot about people about how they talk to each other in high stress situations. You and your Dad's tone and volume talking to each other is amazing. No attitudes, no condescending comments, just working as a team. Love it.
My dad always cussed me the first few minutes we started working on something....I think he cussed me If wasn't even there lol
I enjoyed the "Don't Throw Her away She's a Perfectly Good white girl." If you know, you know...😂😂😂😂😂
I was like, wtf did he say??? Lmao!
Ma’am I would like to let you know you have the coolest dad ever. He loves you alot because it shows. I hope you let him know every day how much you appreciate him.
It's nice to seeing a daughter dad team
I absolutely love the fact that you can inspect/rebuild a transmission on a trashcan. I think your father is getting funnier every time I watch one of your videos.
Gotta Do what ya gotta do sometimes... Part of racing
Cleetus needs some of that magic
38 minutes, unbolt to bolted in.
Dennis is the Man!
Love the trailer!
Denis, Lutz, and the Old man all in one video! Solid gold
pumping the jack with the leg is a classic. The Taylors slap hard.
That was a great save. Young lady that was so bad ass driving
That proved in my opinion how good of a driver you are. Of course I know you are.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,She just gets better and better...................................................
Here we go, the 55 is hooking and making power.not to mention the driver does her Job.
A large number of experienced drivers would have been in a lot of trouble when the back end let go... Taylor has cat like reflexes for sure!
Pops still amazes me with his head full of knowledge .. and you too of course!
Families need to be more like this!
The amount of dedication that goes into events like this is still mind boggling to this feller. Congratulations to you and the team. Your dad busts his A too…. Just pure dedication.
You and your Dad are an amazing team.
i love the leg operating the jack handle.. who needs a thighmaster when you have a racecar...
Making memories with ur family! Go girl
"bright and early" its still pitch black out 😂 Looked like a nice sunrise to see while driving.
Best family in drag and drive💪💪💪
I wish I could have done one of these with my sons, I think it's great that you're Mom and Sister are with you and your Dad and you too Nick.
Glad you all had a great time here in Florida at sick week , I’m glad I got to meet and talk to you and Billy at Bradenton ! Y’all are truly great people , love that you share your life experiences with the rest of us.
Jacking the jack with her foot is an all time clip. Love it lol
Respect from Canada, banger of an outro
ATR got the jack skills with the legs !! I see u
Excellent driving Alex !! Great recovery !!
Leg Day on the Trolley Jack - yup, I think we've all done that in our driveways and sheds, 'professionals' that we are :)
Every time Alex and Dennis communicate, I hear respect and passion which is for great family but also a great team 💯
Love seeing Alex getting her hands dirty and actually doing work instead of standing around letting the men do everything. 🤘
Fast…Smart…Pretty. Alex, you certainly know your way around the 55! Let’s Go! I need merch, oh yea!!! ❤
Having 2 daughters I love watching them work together!!!!
What a Lady and an Awesome Dad!
Alex , you have such a cool Dad !
You two are awesome. What an amazing team.
I was glad to see I'm not the only one who operates the jack handle with a leg while lying under the car. What a pro. Somehow when I pull a trans I end up swimming in fluid. Thanks for the ride alongs on your runs. Very impressive!
ok so I watching and everything looks great from here ya got your 6 then I am like WHY THE HECK ARE WE PULLING THE TRANSMISSION!!!! lmao glad it wasn't a big deal. what a great family dynamic you guys have
Good job, girl. You came back after a scary ride and freaking nailed it. There's a lot of men out there that wish they had balls that big.
Alex with that gorgeous smile u can get what ever u need !!!!!!
That was a wild ride at the top! Fearless!
Love the consistent runs and content tell Bobby lets Go
OMGosh this Gurl can peddle & steer a Racecar !
I'm very very very impressed (even more).
Love the way you and your Dad work together!
Thank you for staying up. Much love.
Thanks for staying current with the videos, glad you’re safe
The more I watch Alex Taylor and the way she handles herself, the more impressed I am with her. The first pass obviously scared the crap out of her -- and she held it together! If you watch the segment between 16:15 and 18:15, she's obviously stressing out -- and she pulls herself together and gets the job done! Such an impressive young woman!!
Alex . Your Dad Is Sooo Cooool !!!
NHRA nasty hot rods allowed! I do remember when Alex rebuilt the transmission in the motor trend competition with Derek’s trans am!
Excellent editing. You kept a good flow without skipping the good parts.
GREAT VIDEO Megan!!! You are getting SOooo good. I was so impressed with the shots, the Conversations, the Interactions, the Family Love and the Explanations I had to watch it again to get the content. I love the Harmony between Father and Daughter especially as Alex grows in her technical knowledge and physical abilities. The Jack Foot-was hilarious! Your editing is so spot on. Sometimes my hearing causes me to miss a detail in an important explanation but you show us other explanations that Alex makes to other people which helps fill in the blanks due to background noises or facial direction.
This was so much fun to watch, I'm having as much fun as you all are. And it doesn't hurt to turn in a "6" time slip either!
I keep thinking how LUCKY you are but, but NO, you are all GOOD at what you do.
"He want's a burger later, so we pulled a gear box for fun" best line ever lol.
Always love the content from my favorite team.
You got bigger balls than most of the dudes out there, and that’s why we love ya alex. Thank god ya only got a little squirly there at the end. Good luck the rest of the week
Love watching you and your dad work together. Extra points for leg pumping the jack. It's something I've don myself. Thanks
Close one Alex and so glad your drove thru it and didn’t hit the wall, so good job. They should have checked that lane because that VW obviously oiled it down since it smoked bad on the big end so they dropped the ball. No cool.
I would say if you're going to throw her away, I'll take her. But my wife wouldn't let me keep her. She's funny that way!
Y'all are doing great. Thanks for taking us along.
When I was a lot younger and dumb I pulled the auto tran on my first car on the ground without a floor jack just used wood to prop it up
When Grub was bent over at the gas station in his trailer, you should’ve pants him
38 minutes of real time = 3 minutes video time I love it! 🎉😊😅😂😎
Dennis with the “Strange Brew” reference! Lol
Just want to say this, y'all are the most down to earth & down to business team in racing!! Class act & super professional too!! Taking care of business & your car!!
You really hit the Dad Lottery with your pops. I think he hit the dascha unit lottery with you too. Good on ya both!
Alex, you’re a beast! Love watching everything you do. Thanks for being so professional and us along for the ride.
Again, hats off to your folks for raising a top quality young lady in today’s world.
Your pops is an amazing trouble shooter and mechanic. Good job you two. And good luck
Your Dad is Awesome 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
Love the 'Better Off Dead' movie quote @ 36:06 🤣🤣
LOL; I caught that too.
Thank you nice to meet you on Monday. Appreciate you staying up to show us another video. Appreciate it. Good luck. See you on Friday.
Excellent crew work and whoever did the video editing good job .
Thanks Alex and Dennis for putting on a good show for all of us fans it's appreciated
Alex i knew it was you guys the other night going to Coney Island I live a half a block from there you guys passed right by my house and the crazy part I was just telling my friend that this is sick week I had no clue that it was going to pass my house this year I really wished I would have known I would have went up to Coney Island to meet everybody, I love what you're doing keep up the great work stay safe and stay blessed
Just found your channel, very enjoyable videos. Good luck this week...
Thanks for keeping it real. Much respect.
Loved your dads reference to the "McKenzie brothers" you have a awesome family!!!
Great driving Alex!
So much respect for your driving and mechanical abilities. Love you with Lucky on TV.
Awesome video 😊good luck at the next races 👍Aloha from Hawaii 🤙🏽😎🌴
This has got to be one of your best videos! Hope you can keep it rockin.
Great job on keeping it together when the rear end kicked on you. And congratulations on the 6.93 pass. Keep kicking butt and stay safe
You are your Dad are one heck of a team. Good luck the rest of the week!
Thx for staying up.
I like how Meg says oh I don’t have this color in my collection 😂😂
I found your little jingle while putting the transmission back in more comical than I probably should have.
You owe Dennis a steak dinner every night the rest of the week for having him pull that trans for the eleventy millionth time.
Thank you Alex for staying up to edit. I am so jealous of the relationship that you and Dennis have as I think everyone who watches is. The hot rod content is awesome but what makes all you special is the people that you and your family and friends are. Don't ever stop doing this.
Loved the Great White North reference. Glad you saved the car Alex and didn't squirrel it into that wall. Good luck on the rest of the tour.
If it was possible to assemble the perfect woman….you still wouldn’t be able to end up with someone like Alex Taylor….. that’s beyond perfection! And congrats on the 6s so far!! Like everything you do….crazy impressive!
With every new video I see you gaining experience and confidence. Fantastic channel & content. The whole Dad/Daughter vibe is tremendous. TY
The cutest human on earth …. Good job driving
Awww sweetest dad. thanks guys
Your editing makes your videos very enjoyable to watch. Love the vision your sharing of your adventures. Nice job !
Just noticed that the headlights had eyebrows. Unfortunately, I remember when those were in the J,C, Whtney catalog.
You just dated yourself by referencing JC Whitey. That was back when I could mail-order a rag top for my 71 MG Midget and they shipped to Hawaii. Nobody does that today!

Absolutely love this content. Showing more of the pit talk is awesome. Good luck and strap in….
Family fun at the race track- Glad your car is ok . That rear twitch was wild.
Sideways at 170 will increase the bum grip factor for sure. Great driving Alex.
I was absolutely impressed by Alex's driving. I saw the outside view and my heart raced and my butt puckered. When the in car view showed you couldn't tell there was even an issue with Alex's reaction. The way she "simply" pulled the chute to straighten out as a reaction says how great she is.❤❤
She didn't even seem to panic enough to need a crowbar to get her unclenched from the seat after the pucker moment and she was on a rip. Looks like she did everything right to keep the car off the wall and still ran a 7.0 pulling the chutes early.
She was worried more about the engine than she was that little slick spot! She thought she caused it! Pretty smart girl!
@@anthonyking4387 well yeah, of course she was worried about the engine, she was worried that her engine cause the oil spot, she literally says that in the video lol
i like her drag week trailer soo cool its got its own toolbox
Love watching you guys and watching you achieve so much well done miss
Sending love from down under 🇦🇺
@ridingwithalextaylor I am so proud of you and I have never met you! The way I see you move around and work on The 55.. You are a true badass! I hope you stay your genuine self and never change for anyone! You are the GOAT of all women racers! I will make it to one of these races one day to shake your hand and hopefully get a picture with you.. Charge on you speed demon and achieve all the goals that you have for yourself. Chris
I can only hope my kids and I have have a similar relationship when they are older...
Did you see what Billy from SRC said about you? You impressed him! Good luck to you all, safe travels.
Bill strolls by at 32:52 and whips out his phone 😂
now that driver works hard much respect......
Alex you are a BEAST on the track and your father is a BEAST in the garage. You two make an amazing race team
Hey, I saw little Billy just watching, not even trying to help get the transmission back in. His son Billy is in the red 55. Nick knows who I'm talking about. He's quick on the tree. Last day, line up, he said he wanted to see how fast his car would go !!!😶
