Thank you so much! I’m also trying to create my own articulated figures using zbrush and this is one of the only videos I could find on the topic. Would you ever be able to make a video with audio or at least some captions explaining the steps? The character sculpt looks great too. I’d seriously be willing to pay you to make a more in depth tutorial on this, I really would!
Awesome video! I do have a question though. Since the joints have to have very specific tolerances, how do you determine that? I see you're not measuring in mm so how do you determine how much tolerance is needed? Seems like a lot of guess work which is why I've thought about using a CAD program for that specifically. Hope to get a response! Thanks!
Very interesting and absolutely lovely model!!! How did you manage to get the clearances right to obtain that snap of the parts and a snug operation of articulations? Trial and error?
@@AlainDiazDesigns Hi. yes, I understand that the results are exact. I mean for example the step at the minute 10:18. In my printer the clearance between two pressed parts must be 0,2-0,25mm. How do you achieve that without precise operators like in any engineering CAD software? I guess that the shapes used for booleans in joints were originally made un Fusion360 or similar with exact measurements and clearences
@@AlainDiazDesigns Well thanks for the answer and I really want to learn what you do, unfortunately I speak in Spanish and taking a course like that would be very difficult for me but if you can help me I would like to pay for the video of this crocodile but at normal speed how much should I pay for this video?
@@felipeherreria8825 O! yo hablo espanol. Soy nacido en Cuba. Espero que esto no me salga mal. Puse el video en mi página de TH-cam. Yo me enseñé a hacer todo lo que se. Suerte, práctica y mejora. De donde eres?

Awesome process for creating a toy.😲

Very cool! I'm beginning my action figure design journey in blender but it's great to see all these concepts still apply! Cheers :D
WOAH.. mindblown...
Can you like make tutorial of how to make Godzilla action figure like S.H.Monsterarts? I'm having problem with that
thanks! best tutorial ever!
excelente video! justamente quiero hacer esto a unas piezas, gracias por el video.

Thanks for the comment. It is not trial and error. It is a technique that delivers exact clearances.

@@alexsemine1No. All of the joints he used in this video were made using ZModeler in the program he's using in this video, ZBrush
Love this!
do you have a real time version?
Sorry no
Amazing and Thank you!
Sweet !! Let me just go ahead and subscribe now
this isnt "how to" this should be title "i did"
Got a question! Would you be willing to do the articulation of a 3D model that I made, If I pay you?
Sure.

hello good day, do you have a course or tutorial where you can learn this topic of how to add articulation in zbrush
I'm only teaching at Otis college of art and design at the moment. Trying to put together something simpler. Thanks for your interest.
