Great work! Consider placing a clock in the background for time-lapses... Like WIntergatan does sometimes... We really get to appreciate the hours that way!!!
Awesome project it was. Can you please tell me what software you are using to control the hand with GUI? I have searched a lot but couldn't find such software.
Hola!

I was wondering which one this link was, of the many 'robot arm' videos i have saved. At 4:26 in, i found out. "Oh! It's the guy who is smart enough to design and 3D print an awesome 6-dof robot arm, but who Isn't smart enough to bolt it down to a heavy, stable base so it doesn't fall over during testing..."
What software did you use to control your hand? Can you help me with that? I'm a design engineer, but I don't know anything about programming. Can you throw off links to programs and articles? I would be very grateful. in top pls.

Hey, nice video. I'm wounding the reason why the movement carrying sugar into the cup is not so smoothly. Is it because PID is not well tuned, the mechanical structure is unstable or your system is not a real-time system?
Hi, thanks for your comment! I think it is mostly because the arm weights a lot and some of the servos in the first joints don't have torque enough to make small motions. Therefore they react and move only when the position error in the PID controller becomes large enough, resulting in large discrete steps of the servos.
Please kindly give a link or name of the prototyping software and one we see at 7:40 when the arm is using a spoon! Would like to learn with my kids. UPD - found the answer in comments below, thanks a lot!!
Dude totally felt your frustration when the head broke im doing a robotic arm for a cosplay (not as complex as yours its my first time doing it) and it broke on me while i was testing it from time to time XD
@@Androtics_AI exactly!! :D Thats what im doing right now theres still a lot to improve to make it "bullet proof" but ill get there hope the same goes for you!
Hi , its a great effort, loved it. Can you tell me which software can be used for such mechanical simulation and control of arm directly from computer? Thanks in advance
Hello there! i want to ask how much cost ONLY the materials of this robotic arm , and if i choose to use some metalic ones instead of 3d printed it would cost more or less?
It depends on whether you own the 3d printer or not. If you dont, then the price could be not that far off. If you do, then obviously 3d printer would be cheaper.

Hey! Great job. I really appreciate your work. Can you tell me how did you solved the problem with shaking servo which is showed at the end of the video? Thanks a lot!
Thanks Dariusz! Actually that was a problem of the software, some bad loop in the programming was producing the shacking shown at the end, but it is solved :)

i love the cut at 5.24 where he almost giveup everything. thx fior great video.
Thanks! Yes, not everything works in the first try ..
respect and even more for showing when it goes wrong.
I congratulate you for not giving up. Success "not give up" ...
Congratulations on seeing the project through to the end! Nice video man!
congratulations, bro.

incredibly cool.
What software do you use to visualize / simulate the arm?
Op sucks! No reply
ROS
Rviz with Moveit plugin and probably gazebo

Wow!! Thank for sharing. Great robot
Do you know what software is used to control the arm through 3d model?
Next one, with stepper motors ;) haha ! Well done.
Thanks! Yeah I will use steppers at some point ;)
good work brother . Love the way you took efforts

add PID control for smooth move

Put sugar in this cup.
Can I pass you some butter?
No, your purpose is to put sugar in this cup.

Never mind the motion glitch from 8:15. The cats have it as well when they chatter with their jaws. Still hasn't bee fixed.

if you know what to do xD
