It's why I've been sticking with the brand. I mean, there's also just something classic and kinda cheesy about a lot of their stuff. But their quality cant be beat for the price and availability!
Thanks for watching! And yeah, I get why some people want or might "need" a smart watch, but that's an addiction to "connecting" that people feed by going that far. And there's such a good opportunity for a useful tool other than *just* a clock on your wrist
Thanks for checking it out man! I DO love my G-shock for a lot of reasons, and I can already tell it's gonna get a lot of wear time. But you're right, there's better watches than just a "tough" one depending on what you're doing or what your general needs are. Kind of what I'm hoping to do with this "Mini-series"
Absolutely! It's really become way more popular these days having appeared in Big Bang and Breaking Bad, and just overall nerd culture being a little more in the lime light in the last few years. I love mine, and still wear it on the regular, especially for work where I use it all the time!
Conan, are you wearing your watches on the inside or outside of your wrist ? After the first smashed glass 25yrs ago I swapped to the inside. Something to consider...
I always wear them on the outside. I do a lot of typing and I'd just be grinding/wracking them on a desk all day if they were on the inside. Plus, I handle a lot of random parts and packages, so I'm constantly loading my arms and and hands with awkward bulky stuff. Good suggestion though- thanks!
The w800 is "The People's Watch". This is the choice for the masses. Why? Well the masses need to tell the time , ( the date is a plus!) but they really don't need an altimeter , barometer , or any other meter. It's so very basic it's beyond minimalist. It's downright sensible.
Thank you for the tag!!
Casio makes such great watches!

Love seeing the Casio love! I switch between my two casio's all the time.
These are great options! I agree with you on the smart watches.

Thanks man! I'm looking forward to doing more of these for sure
I like the watch series! I think your G shock is my favorite so far, but I like the functionality of the outdoor one also.

Is the iconic calculator from Casio gonna make an appearance? Thanks, Conan.

@@ConansEasyDadCarryBeen a while since you’ve done an upload… I hope everything is good and you’re having a great new year ✌️
I picked up a Casio Forester. It's a simple watch. It has a standard face, that kids can't read, lol. Also I have wore out a casio.
😄 a solid choice! Definitely that classic field watch style that I wish Casio would do more of
