I am searching your videos to see if I can find it. My husband loved it, too. He puts pepper and hot sauce on everything, but he said he didn't need it. Since I have been making most of your recipes, he really has cut back on the hot sauce. So, once again. Thank you!! Your videos always brighten my days.
Yup, drooling my face off and it’s only breakfast!! I’d add some cremini or button shrooms to the veggie line up, maybe a few sugar pea pods and throw some toasted cashews or almonds on at the end with the green onions. Or not, this line up is fantastic on its own.

I used a little bit of oil in an Instant Pot to cook the chicken, then vegetables. I added a stalk of celery, half a big carrot and about 5 mushrooms cut into quarters. I made your sauce, but added the cornstarch slurry. My boyfriend raved about it.

I like my sweet and sour Peking or Beijing style which calls for the addition of crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce to give it a spicy bit of heat. It's very good that way. The sweet and sour plus the spicy kick of the crushed red pepper just compliment each other.

Looks wonderful, will have to give it a try. My big problem with the takeout food is I have to pick out all the onions. They’re never more than half cooked at most & my stomach doesn’t tolerate onions unless they’re fully cooked. I’ll have to sauté the onions first before I add the other veggies so they get done enough.
I’ll absolutely have to try this. I wonder if using the drained pineapple juice in the sauce would reduce the sugar and add flavor. It would require more cornstarch I suppose. Just a thought. We like to add water chestnuts to Chinese vegetables for added crunch. Thanks for this delicious and very adaptable recipe!

You have to keep an exceedingly close eye on Hexclad pans. One minute they’re cold and before you it, they are on the verge of burning your food They’re absolutely the greatest for getting a quick sear on meat to finish up in the oven or crockpot though! They cost a lot more than they‘re worth due to their sales being flogged by Gordon Ramsey. Without his dubious contribution the cost would likely be about half what it is - my rant for today.
