I made the shepherds pie soup yesterday (Saturday) for British Date Night and it was exceptional. Starts off as ordinary hamburger soup and then, and then! Cheese! So delicious.

I am going to buy a crock pot like yours I think it's a 6 quart H Beach would you do a teaching on how to use this and how many hours it takes for things to get done such as chicken white meat dark meat cube steaks etc thank you I am use to old crock pots but mine broke and the new ones are not like the old ones.
I have been looking for one of those countertop burners for a long time. Our stove is getting ready to give up the ghost and we cannot afford another one right now so we need something to cook on until we're able to purchase a new one. Could you recommend one that works good and is affordable? I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much for sharing all these quick and easy recipes with us ❤
Tami, a couple of years ago our stove died and I went to Walmart and purchased a 2 burner (Faberware) hot plate and an electric skillet. It served our needs for around 3 + months. Seriously I know where you are coming from and this was a game changer until we could purchase a new stove. Add in Katherine’s delicious Crock Pot recipes and you should be good to go!

Our old DVD player just died on us now, too, so I have to look for one of those. We bought that at Walmart many years ago so we definitely got our money's worth out of it. Luckily they are not as expensive as a new stove 😉 I've been looking for a good electric skillet as well, so it's funny you should mention that. We've never had one of those before but I remember growing up that we used to have one and my dear mother would use it to cook with every now and then. Thanks again for your wonderful suggestions ❤

Slow cookers don't need to be pre-heated. I looked at the recipes and there no mention of turning it on before adding ingredients.
No, I put everything in then start my crockpot.
Nice, but I don't have a slow Cooker. And I Cook only for my salf. And this is to much jus for me. But kip going.
