Hi, how does the screens compare in the hds 12 between gen 2 and gen 3..same resolution or quality? I was looking to run an old hds 12 to view the cmap reveal...good idea?
my hds9 says gen3 but has the exact buttons as the first unit you have on the left facing us ........ and I wanted to ask do these units show water temperature at different depths ?
Hi i have the gen 2 hds9 touch screen would you know how the graphics are compared to the gen 3 and also i still have to update mine to 6.0 but was told that was basically just for gps not fish related so any info on that would be helpful

Danny Collins elite 5 doesnt have NMEA2000 port,may not support xi5.
I notice the screen is bigger or so it seems to be on the Gen3 unit.

Is the gen3 easier to see in the day time? I love my gen2 touch but it's tough to see with my Navionics Platinum chip.
