Mardin has always been on my list since forever. Its a must for all the history buffs like me
14:55 the city did city didn't came under the rule of Turks in ottoman era it was first Seljuks Turks that took it in 12th Century way before Ottomans. after the fall of Seljuk empire many Beyliks were found just like Ottoman Beylik that ruled Söğüt and parts it gradually took all the Seljuk territories back from other Beyliks governers of Seljuks just like Ottomans.
