How To Use Truma Combi E | Heating & Hot Water in Camper (manual panels)

  • This video shows you how to use the Truma Combi E heating system in a motorhome with manual control panels. Truma Combi E can heat the living unit with hot air and heat the water so that you have hot water available in the taps from one and the same unit. Truma Combi EH can be used on gas, electricity or possibly a combination of these. Use of the electric element requires that the car is connected to 230v.

    Explanation of how the Truma panels work:
    First use the ENERGY SOURCE panel (Symbols explained from top to bottom):
    * || = Power 1800w (Requires 230v)
    * | = Power 1800w (Requires 230v)* Flame = Gas (This is used when fricamping)
    * | and flame = electricity 900w and gas (requires 230v)
    * || and flame = electricity 900w and gas (requires 230v)
    After you have set the energy source to what is most appropriate, you move on to the control panel.
    CONTROL PANEL (symbols explained from top to bottom)
    * Only hot water, 60 degrees* Only hot water, 40 degrees
    * 0/Switch off the system
    * Hot air only* Hot air AND hot water, 60 degrees
    LIGHT:
    GREEN LIGHT IN DISPLAY = EVERYTHING OK
    RED LIGHT IN DISPLAY = ERROR
    ORANGE LIGHT IN DISPLAY = WARM-UP PHASE
