And then my dads Xbox was also delayed and said the same thing. I thought FedEx was cool and chill until this happened to me
I work for FedEx Ground. My branch a sub location just got a upgrade. From walking the ground with the conveyor belt 2 feet from the ground too, conveyor belt 3 feet from the ground. And the platforms has been altered.

I worked for ground and now work for express, in ground they have handlers, in express the driver has to pull their own boxes and sometimes for neighboring trucks
I currently work for FedEx in new York as a package handler and we get up at 1am to load the trucks so when the driver come in at 8am they are ready to go
For FedEx Express we have the drivers and handlers. Handlers take the packages from the cans (where the packages are held while on the plane and semitrailers) and put them on the belt where drivers get them to deliver them on their routes
We get a food delivery and this is the fourth time the food came late. It is perishable and has ice packs that were long ago thawed out and the food was warm. The shipping date was 5 days ago
All we care about his getting paid. Also, I’ve never seen a FedEx driver load their boxes in trucks, EVER!!! It’s funny they ignored the package handlers just to make FedEx look good. This is complete bs of a story.

There is no such thing as a contractor with integrity!!!! The employee has no laws or rights or protection from the parent company!!!! Contractors know this and will abuse it!!!! Stay away from contractor Sheronda Lipscumb Johnson at the FedEx terminal in Richfield, OH!!!! And as always, stay away from Amazon delivery too!!!!

FedEx Ground is operated by 3rd party operators, and they are truly the worst. If you want your stuff to arrive by xmas, don't even bother using that service
The package handler employees usually start at 3:30 n after being there a year I have yet to see a driver come in that early to load their trucks. Package handlers either load the trucks or we have these cages on wheels and each one are numbered According to the last 3-4 numbers on each truck then the packages come off the conveyor belt scanned n then placed in the cages or trucks accordingly. The drivers come in and they know what number belongs to them n they load their trucks according to how they get delivered. Some drivers help when we’re really busy but they can’t put a package in their truck until the package handler scans it. There’s no i in team n we’re all a team with 2 things in mind 1) that the customer gets their packages 2) That everything is done safely from beginning to end. Realtors famous saying is LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION at FedEx it’s SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY!! Being safe is just as important as the package getting to the customers. We have a huge board that’s lights up n it’s for every day worked without injury. The last time I looked it was 999 days. I call it our scoreboard n we take pride in our scoreboard. The gentleman in the video is an excellent employee that goes above n beyond the call of duty. Trust me there’s no doubt he’s feeling the love from the package handlers to the customers. I don’t know him but if I did I would strongly suggest that he should look into doing training videos for all future (truck drivers)employees n get PAID HANDSOMELY FOR IT!! Stranger things have happened. If I was the boss and I needed to train drivers he would be the one that I would pay to do it. Start them off with good habits instead of trying to teach an old dog new tricks (figuratively speaking) like getting someone from another company (that I had deliver my package)who was used to throwing the packages on someone’s porch rather than taking a few extra steps to do it correctly n SAFELY. Hopefully the gentleman sees this n looks into it. Lots of luck to you and be safe out there.
i was a 5 year employee there.. was passive aggresivly fired from express for saying something about people not wearing masks there loss im like 3 people compared to their senior citizens they have working there lol

Plus my friend works there and the mangers literally steps on boxes and throws them without caring. Of course my friend handles them with care
You may also want to think about your joints. More people working to fed ex get knee replacements surgureries than retirement homes.

Every package this week was late. Tracking shows them going back and forth and to states far away from source or destination. They have no clue.
