Thinking back to other thinkings... I don't know who deserves what, or what God's will is...
And, it might be a sin to write it. But my small opinion is - if anyone ever deserved success, it certainly is you, brother.
    Thanks.

Thank you for sharing this update. I agree that you should also have a PULMONOLOGIST follow you. I've had something similar to that test...it was called a PULMONARY FUNCTION TEST. Lots of different sorts of breathing! 😍

    Pulmonary function test...fun...
At least you didn't hit the floor. I despise the little booth. It's supposed to measure his much oxygen you take up I think but it's nerve racking to me. I don't like being closed into anything. Totally psychological but still...
Edited to add: I kicked it open several times 😅
Edited to add: Find the FEV1/FVC ratio. This tells you your lung function. 90%, 75%, mine has measured in the mid 30s -50s. Try to blow out a candle. If you can blow out a candle, try to blow up a balloon. One of the most unnerving things I've experienced was not being able to blow out a candle. Not gonna lie, monstrous wave of panic crashed over me but I'm still here.
Edited again to add: So... you will probably start having coughing fits. These are not fun. You may vomit and you can also pass out. You want to position yourself on the floor with your head turned and something like a pillow under your hips face down, just in case. Incentive spirometry will help you regularly expand your lungs, like, on purpose and you may be able to buy one without a prescription so you don't have to wait. I recommend you doing that. There are vests that vibrate that can help you knock that stuff loose. There's also a medication called mucamist that smells like rotten eggs. It's disgusting but it also helps to break that mucus down so you can cough it up. There's also exercise. You have to exercise. Like, you'll die of pneumonia if you don't keep that mucous moving because infection will set in and you may not be able to fight it. Basically, you want to pick something that causes you to breathe hard enough to trigger coughing. And you want to do this either where you can be seen by other people just in case you hit the floor or where you can prone yourself to deal with the coughing fits if that's what you need. Blacking out and hitting the floor is bad enough but if you black out and vomit on your back by yourself.... you have a problem.
Edited again to add: I actually forgot that your primary problem is a tumor. If you have a lot of secretions in your lungs, mucus clearance will help. If the tumor is causing the coughing fits like trapped mucous but you can't clear it you really need to have a plan for how you're gonna manage the coughing fits and you still need to get as much exercise as you can tolerate. I highly, highly suggest getting on bipap. You can even do a home vent through nasal pillows. The point is, you have gotten to the point that you need breathing support at night and a sleep study would probably be alarming to that fact. You should ask for one.

    G. You might need an advocate. Does the pivot nurse serve in this capacity? 8 months ago when you started having problems breathing you should have been referred to a pulmonologist. Wait a month? Why? They are not treating you like a stage 4 cancer patient.

Pulmonologist... ive had this.. you breath, and push against it, nose blocked. Its almost like a resistance test for your lungs to see how much they can push out. I was surprised to see one year a failed it , 5 years later passed it. It definitely made me dizzy, almost passed out.

he phlegm and coughing is because of the cancer, they can’t take that away. I have understood you already have cough medicin? But it is good you will be seeing a pulmonologist, he can help you to be able to get more oxygen in. I am not sure but there also seems to be something in your speech today, could be you are just tired though. Take care ❤️

It's amazing to me that you can see cancer just looking into a person's eyes. I can even sense a person who's on chemo or radiation. There's a strong smell to a person who is in taking these toxins.

How can you realistically expect that with your lungs filled with those hundreds of cancerous tumors you mentioned, you WOULDN'T have breathing issues? The breathing issues are being caused by the cancer. You have stage 4 terminal cancer. So no lung cancer would mean no breathing issues, loads of cancerous tumors equals breathing issues, right?? Cancer has also lead to your extreme cachexia (muscle wasting), further weakening the respiratory muscles, so I'm confused why YOU and your "team" are so puzzled by the breathing issues origins....Can someone else help explain this please??? 🤔

I am also confused. Why isn't he on oxygen at night to help with his breathing? There is no mention of that. I thought he would have a "team" of doctors to manage this. Maybe medical care in Canada is different. I don't know.

Salty vibes, you make perfect sense to me. Can't speak for his team, but he's 100% in denial. I guess I can't blame him.

I didn’t hear him say he was puzzled by the breathing issues. He did say he didn’t know why there is so much phlegm. He does have a team which now includes a pulmonologist. If you don’t like what he has to say, why do you listen? 😁
