Hi Terri, you really cover all aspects. I am looking forward to the next lesson. Thanks so far. Helga

Is it possible for you to show a photo of one that is finished. I am finding it difficult to imagine what it would actually look like after stitching. Thank you for all the time you take to help us. So glad I found you. X

foreverwestlife1 - I have a video in the playlist for Moore’s Sewing that shows a very small design I created from a photo of my dog.

Thank you Terry I found it and for pointing out bits you would have changed. Good tip about using flatter to remove the puckering. I am in UK and not heard of this but someone must sell it. I get quite upset when it looks good on the hoop and then remove it and there are the puckers again. I wish there was a magic stabilizer that would cover all fabrics. I know that is not possible but it makes me despondent. I know all the stabilisers that are available, but not sure what to use on different types of fabric. Perhaps one day when you have time (your busy already) you could go through that. I am hopefully picking up my Luminaire from the dealer on Tuesday. 4 hour drive)

foreverwestlife1 - Good luck with your Luminaire and have a safe drive. I would definitely use a fusible stabilizer on the fabric. You could also try using a sticky back tear away stabilizer to see if that improves the appearance.

When I design a picture on photo stitch 1 i get running jump stitches all over. What Am I doing wrong. I need to have the software cut my jump stitch. How do I do that?

Pauline Sweeney - I don’t know that you are doing anything wrong. I had a few jump stitches myself that I trimmed away. Normally jump stitches are created when the machine has to move from one area to the next. You could stop the machine and trim them or edit the design to add a color stop which I think would be more work.
