Happy New Year and thank you Terry. While I neither have a multi-needle machine nor a Scan cutter, I found all the information useful, because I learnt where the different items fit in. Helga

Thank you for a very informative video. I am new to the PE Design 11. I find this more user friendly than the Hatch software.
    Regards,
    Ann.

Hello I have a multi needle machine and I am very novice to embroidery. I add my fabric after the outline, then it sews it in place, I then cut away the excessive fabric. When it goes to sew the satin stitch it is sewing from the line inwards, thus leaving the fabric cut edge exposed. Can you assist me as to what I am doing wrong?

Thank you for sharing. Do you have a video of how to create block lettering with offset line for applique. for example tackle twill design?

Mauvis Miller - with any shape, (built in or one you digitize), you can add an outline stitch and a fill stitch. Your outline can be a satin stitch.

Thank you for the video, I do have a question, what if you wanted to import an outline and create an applique

    • @terrymaffitt4012

Linda Thompson - Linda, if you are talking about importing a stitch file and taking an outline from it, you will need to convert it to blocks to create an applique from that file. If you are talking about importing an image and using it to digitize a running stitch around the design, you can convert it to an applique. If you have a FCM or SVG file, you can import it and a running stitch will automatically be applied. I believe I have an example of creating an applique from a design in the Applique Series. If you need more help let me know. If you own a Luminaire or are considering buying one, I invite you to join our Facebook Group called “Just Stitchin with the Brother Luminaire”. Here is the link
