CSR 2 | CSR Racing 2, How to find out if a car is good

- Everytime I get a new car I have to try to figure out if its any good and worth building. Other than the obvious method of waiting for other people to tell me, I tend to do a specific test to make initial determination of a car's long term usefulness to me as a live racer.

The issue with that, according to some information I was told, is that the base code is too messy to implement anything easily.
@@maxthegamerOG That I can easily imagine! However wouldn't you get for such a project some kind of relational database like Oracle, Informix/IBM or such and start from there? you wouldn't have to reinvent the wheel with all the bugs and QA for these basic functions.
My inventory is short of exploding, I have now >135 pages to go through if I wanns find dupes etc. No fun anymore!

only beating dyno does not make a car good..if anything it is even more vulnerable to getting bumped up
Dyno beating is not stable enough for long term use for most people. Plus I can make 90% of cars beat dyno if needed. So there is no benefit to building another one.

max i found a great way to beat dyno with this 812. u should set ur tired to like around 40/60 and press launch when ur needle is at 3k or 4k. that way ur car needle drops when launching and just accelerates with 0 wheelspin. that happened to me and i beat dyno by like 0.5s
The downtune sacrifices a lot of Evo. It does beat dyno but matchmaking would also be less favorable.
I think in one of your other videos you said something about a cut-off for performance points regarding lobby times. For example I'm pretty sure for tier 4 538 PP puts you in like a 14.2...maybe a 14.4 lobby which is really works good for my CT5-V that can do 13.8s. My question is do you know the PP cut-off for tier 5?
@johnrudder1323 there are definite noticable cutoffs for maintaining lobby advantage. Its based on each bracket of time. I don't recall off the top of my head each one.

Great video i needed this! This is a random question I have around 10-12 good cars totally maxed out but every time I try to live race 19/20 races get declined when I’m in tier 5. Even if they have w/l or recycling signs
In those maxed out lobbied most of the players are swapping with their own accounts or their crew. That is why you get a lot of rejections. Unless they get to know you there, they rather swap with people they know.

This is mostly discovered through trial and error. However, it is generally agreed that lobbies are divided by time ranges about every 0.2-0.3 second range. So 12.0 to 11.7xx, 11.7xx to 11.4xx. Etc. Pp range is still something most of us are testing cars to discover for each lobby.
I have a question as a new player that spent some money in some bad cars already, I will like to know why this cars can run as fast as 7.0 seconds on the half mile drag and I see everyone’s in youtube usually use this cars at 10.3 seconds like whats the point of maxing out a car!?
You max out cars for running through events. Many require very fast times. Live racing is different. It is more bracket style. So some great live racers do not have to be maxed out to win.

Lmao okayyyy. I watch most of your videos and other CSR tubers too and try to educate others who play as well. But always get called a hacker or that I bought an account. Why are you maxing out the tac on launch?
It is one of the launch techniques. By timing the countdown, i simply hit launch button and the needle will drop to the right rpm in its own.
