I forgot to mention that 960 GP can give you +2 Gathering Attempt/Integrity, if you're not crafting in between Legendary Nodes use GP food or Meld more GP!

you only need 900 for the +2 and 930 for the +1 on collectable nodes
7.0 High Tier 4936/4943/627 is the right melds??
i would say that if you want to go the way of having hq ingredients for the orange scrip grind, go for the culinarian collectable. the only hq-able ingridient is dark rye flour, which as a level 81 material you can get the rye in bulk from a botanist retainer, and then use trained eye for free hq.
Not really one of the materials is a bi color item so thats 3 gems per craft, alot of other don't require this and only need basic gathering materials.
@@Anorak7777 roneek meat is available from gems, combat, and combat retainer, it's not a gem exclusive.

If you have lots of Hi-Cordial you can alternate between legendary nodes and orange scrip collectables. As far as I could see collectables give you the same rate of spiritbonding, but usually you will have slightly less swings of course.1-2% per swing - same as for the legendary nodes.

Everything that can be gathered by your own. The CUL Tacos are by far the best for orange Scripts but these require Bicolor Gemstone Materials which could be expansive if you dont have a Battle Retainer. So for me i crafted the Carpenter lvl 100 item to farm orange scripts.

Question, what does one do with their old Penta-melded gear? I've always wondered... Last expansion was my first ever penta meld set, so I've never experienced it before.
Keep it so that when you craft level 80 mats you can Spiritbond that set, Grade IXs are still valuable

I might be wrong but I believe hitting the chance to get an extra item (the smaller % number) it does double your spiritbond gain.

So, as was mentioned by another commentator, when you have a Gatherer's Boon activation, you gain higher spiritbond. That was true back when you got the HQ items from nodes, and never changed. Another thing you haven't mentioned, in your recent videos that I could see is the change to how spiritbonding works for crafting and gathering professions. Which is huge, because it makes it easier for us to spiritbond now.
That change is that it is base level of the item, versus base level of the craft/node. This is a change from what it used to be, which was ilvl of the item of gear, and the ilvl of the node/craft.

I saw in the 7.0 patch notes that gatherer's spirit bond was changed from being based on ilvl to lvl, but I did not see anything about that for crafters. Was that change made in an earlier or later update?
Is there a set for gatherers that don't have 12's like the crafting set you showed? I don't have any 12s
You can do Grade 6 instead of 12, the minimum stats are easy to reach as I said in the video
I might try this out because bicolor gems are too annoying and tedious for me to grind so i can make the collectaables

I was unsure about this crafter's 690ilvl overmeld.
Do this would work when new master books come out? I was fear again re-overmeld, if new recipes are too high.

No this overmelds wont work with the new Set. He did these overmelds just to have 5 slots in each piece to get the max Bonding Bonus. Also he used cheap crafter Materia to be able to craft the lvl 100 orange script Stuf without keeding HQ Materials. You can and should wait for the master Book recipes to overmeld your Gear with Grade 11&12. But if you wait make sure to overmeld your gear with something to get max bonding. Even Battle MaterianWorks and Grade 5 or 6 Battle Materia is cheap af. Ive bought 400 piety for 100 Gil each just to overmeld my Gear. But if you do that put at least grade 10 Crafter Materia in the first safe Slots since you can remove then to 100% once you meld your Gear with Grade 11&12
I followed your melds exactly and have 4481 control, and even with the HQ Tsai food I am unable to get the green threshold, even with my mastery classes. With tsai I get 4576 with mastery classes and 4557 without but every time I've tried the macro it has fallen into to 10250-11200 range at best for the level 100 collectables. Not a single one has reached the 11400 threshold. Not really sure what's happening. There's no situation with the condition during the craft either, always seems to be normal or good.
Not really sure what could be going on. Thoughts? I suppose I could just use a single HQ but that significantly increases the time investment.
Nevermind I found the issue. After scouring the video and comparing with the macro in-game I noticed that there was a Prudent Touch instead of Prudent Synthesis in the first macro.
I had actually copy-pasted from your linked orange scrips macro in the description and have verified it says "Prudent Synthesis" on your site. So seems it was just a typo from your site's macro. It works perfectly fine now after making the change.

Does the 690 crafted set pentamelded last the whloe expansion? Or does another set come out that does?
I believe it's like every other patch we get a new pentameldable set. You don't often need to do each one, but for gatherers the new interaction with spiritbonding might mean that the prior difference between gear and item doesn't matter anymore, so you'd not be getting more bonding using lover ilevel like we did last expansion.
What this means is that if you can pentameld each new set and use those, you should still be able to gather with increased stats and spiritbond at the same rate as now, which was not the case in Endwalker (most people had a low ilevel set for bonding and high set for gathering higher level nodes).
7.1 there will be a left side so 7.0 accessories stay, 7.3 will be a full new set.

Also just FYI, I'm not sure why but old lvl90*** legendary nodes also give very good spritbounding even though they are lvl 90.

How does spiritbonding help?
When your gear is 100% spiritbonded you can extract materia. For level 100 gear, this means the new grade XI and XII.
Been working on leveling crafters and gatherers and this is the first time I've had them leveled to patch. Are we expecting different crafting gear around 7.05 which is the reason for the lower melds?

I did 80 L100 walnut fishing rods yesterday. I put a bunch of them in my saddle bag.
I don't really like any of the orange gear. All my crafters have separate glam but i like what they already have more. I did buy one of the garden things for 1000 orange but other than that im going to get materia. Doing the crafts is win/win because of spirit bonding and scrips.
I levelled my botanist yesterday to 100 and ive unlocked the folklore for all of them. Its hard going getting orange scrips because you get so few for each collectable even at a 1000 quality. Maybe fishing is better? Im doing fisher next.
I enjoy the crafting/gathering side of ff14 more than anything else, and buying/selling.
I never do leve quests so 90+ has been very handy for gathering levelling and faster imo. I get you don't get scrips but its better for me to farm them at L100. It took maybe 4 hrs to level the botanist plus done all the job quest thing plus custom deliveries. Ive only got the blacksmith and fisher quest left to do.

Half those buffs are wasted, spirit bond has a cap if you have the pot + max melds your capped.
Not for crafter, all of it needed for crafter.
