For me, *this* interview by far has been the most interesting and practical. It is a challenge to change culture in a business. Kate Masson, thank you for all your research and wisdom!
Really enjoyed and was inspired by this conversation. It takes guts and faith to make changes this huge in a business (or any type of organization). Kate is a wonderful, hopeful, precise communicator and living true to her calling. Lovely, inspiring example!
I grew up thinking the best Christians become missionaries (to India, Africa, etc), but as a business-owner myself, I agree when she says that having a business makes huge cultural and kingdom impact. Agree with "less management" and "Empower others to make decisions"
same here, realised while growing up that being in business in actually better in the long term as you empower others and teach people to fish instead of giving them a fish
When I saw this was about business I had to listen. You can tell just by how she communicates the incredible heart that she carries and the vision she has. I loved this! Keep the great life giving content coming
If ever I run a business, I would definitely follow their steps. I have worked for them for 11 months. The only place I felt valued and loved working at. I still cherish my days at IAN MARTIN. I always make sure to make my friends jealous by talking about the work culture I got to experience at IAN Martin ❤️ May Lord almighty bless you and your family ❤
I understood about 10% of what was talked about here. I guess my lack of business experience is real. Still, I can see how they did things differently, thinking out of the box. Great work!
This is so good! Thank you thank you thank you! I have so many business visions and I wanted to figure out how to create a way that everyone is a 'manager'. This is so helpful and confirming. THANK YOU!! 🙏🏽
As Kate was talking I remembered a line from an older song from Caedmons Call that says "You can lead a horse to water, you may even make him drink, but you will never change his point of view. "
Wow, this woman is amazing. Their family launched the business in the 1950s and its thriving today. What a dream!
