just bought these as i am looking to start running as a hobby… my reasoning was if i spent 250 on a pair of running shoes.. i better commit to RUNNING. took them on my initial run today and they felt amazing. i’m hooked!
Hi Dan.....thanks for the review! Totally agree with your thoughts on the shoe. I used these for a half-marathon race back in November.....no breaking in......straight out of the box......set a PB. So comfortable......but fast. Prefer these to the Vaporfly 2......more width in the toe box. Used these for a 5k race last week and again, they didn't disappoint. They will be my go to shoes for all my 2024 races except the marathon distance. All the best with your training!
Surprisingly, I'm 450 km in and they're still doing really well. I'm very surprised by the durability, although the soles are starting to crack. Pretty sure I might be able to push another 50 or 75 km. Also, paid 135€ for them in discount.
I used these as a daily trainer for quire some time and they held up pretty good! If you're running on roads and paths then you'll be absolutely fine! But if you go on grass/trails a lot then maybe look for something with a little more durability in the sole!
I’m going to use them for walking fast for an hour and a half on a treadmill. Then work up to jogging a half mile or so. Why? Because I’m 80 yrs.old. What do you think??
Wouldnt recommend them for that... There are way better shoes for that and for cheaper and for more comfort. Carbon plated race shoes are uncomfortable at slow paces and are not the most comfortable running shoes for walking and even easy running.
The VAPE 3’s are UGLY . The heel likes like the back of a tugboat. Now the VAPE 2’s are the prettiest racing shoes ever created. I consider the VAPE 2% to be the GOAT of racing shoes.

I did the same thing! Good luck with you training, they’re a great pair of shoes which I’m sure you’ll love!
Got them for $99 at Nike outlet in Vegas today

I never used the vaporfly 2, however I agree that the V3 were lovely straight out of the box! Thank you for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video!

make a video of him on your channel, I would like to see him after 450km.
This is a shoe that you pair with a Peg Turbo in which you do most of your training and once in a while you go full blast with the Vapors.
I have the vaporfly 1 the zoom X foam wears out easily its not meant for everyday run.
You're 100% a heel striker, thats why you got that wear pattern, if you look at your intro, youve got pretty pronounced dorsiflexion and heel strike
Do you have Strava, would love to follow the progress 😊
Hey yes I do! I did try to add a link in the description but it didn’t let me 😅 once I get the link figured out I’ll share in on my community tab 🤞😇
Great video! Thank you!
You’re more than welcome! Glad you liked it!
I agree with you sir on all that you have said
Loved your review man. I wanted to ask that can i use these shoes as a daily trainer and what is your opinion regarding its durability?
