Thanks dude, appreciate it. I agree totally. I think we may get some new racing ASICS soon as I hear there is a new Tokyo edition coming that looks epic 👍

@@Runningonthemind I am walking and average of 3 1/2 miles a day. I must say that it’s beginning to turn on my body. I wore some hiking shoes earlier in the week for two walks. They caused quite a bad blister on my toe.
I’ve been wearing my new balance since then and they’ve been fine for walking. With some foot care, the blister has been okay. I tried jogging for 100 m. on my walk today. As I suspected my stamina isn’t up for it yet. I read your comment on socks. Today I wore my darn tough socks with my new balance. and there was absolutely no problems with my feet. So since I spent £18 A pair for my darn tough socks I decided that a few pair of SHUY, socks shouldn’t be out of the question. I’ll order some. Joining the gym next week, primarily to do some strength training on my legs since I have a bad knee and a physiotherapist recommended that I strengthen the muscles around the knee. It only bothers me when I walk upstairs. It’s a little bit painful. Also decided to Purchase a pair of Asics running shoes. Going to the gym will be handy in the winter when I don’t feel like running or walking in the street. I can get on the treadmill when the weather is bad. Thanks for all your comments.
Thanks so much for the constructive feedback, appreciate you saying so and I’m glad that you thought the review was accurate. Next review will be the superblast 2 which I’m absolutely loving the last month 👍
I have Paris sky, and vf3 and lean towards ASICS. Haven’t tried edge, but given it’s basically a vf all good. Paris is a shoe that carries you, tired legs and the shoe will keep pushing you fast. Vf3 feels like you have to work more. For me we are talking about thin margins though both work well.
Thanks for the comment dude. I agree with you, basically in reverse as I have the edge and not the sky, but have tried the sky. There isn’t a lot in it, but I must admit I’m leaning towards the ASICS. I just got a pair of superblast 2 so lokkkg forward to putting some miles in with them.
Subscribed. First time owning the edge shoe and starting my marathon block. Can you give some example workouts I should use them on to get ready for the full distance run in February? Still running on the novablast 4 on my all purpose runs until a metaspeed 2 comes available. Thanks.
Awesome, great to have you as part of the channel, thank you. I’d use them on your tempo sessions, any speed repeats or track sessions and every second or third long run you do. Did you mean the superblast 2 coming available? I have them on order since the start of September. Was due to ship last week but still delayed frustratingly!
@@Runningonthemind Yes, superblast 2. I'll try on the edge for the next tempo session and a 10k next weekend. Scaringly springy and wants to let loose. We'll see how it feels on longer runs.
Sorry to hear that, it’s funny I met somebody at a recent race and they said the same thing. I don’t get any problems like that with the alphas but I am starting to get a little tired of the poor manufacturing quality of them for the money they are. I don’t think I will buy another pair anytime soon..
Go for the same, UK size 10. I find that they fit almost exactly the same. The metaspeeds are hard to get hold of in a UK size 10 though, hopefully you can find a pair 👍
Hi, just Like & Subscribed. I have a Superblast v1 with 120km and its midsole is still a bit stiff for my liking. Is the Edge's midsole softer than the Superblast v1 please? I also have the Prime X Strung v1 & Adidas AP3. The PXS is softer & i like like it like that, but not stiff like the AP3. Wondering how you position the Edge midsole softness there... Thanks
@@dhoang75 fantastic, thanks for being part of the channel my friend. I’ve not run in the SB1 but I do have the SB2 coming in a few days. The Edge is I would say less firm than the AP3. I had the AP3 and didn’t like them and returned them. The edge is a totally different feeling to the AP3, more responsive, explosive and faster.
It’s white, pure platinum, speed yellow and speed red. They’ve been available on sportsshoes.com for a while but only just come available on Nike.com 👍
Honestly, I don’t know for sure as I’ve only ever tried on the sky, I’ve not run in them for any distance. I’ve been trying to get a pair for ages but ASICS racing shoes are super hard to get hold of. When I’m not holding a camera I’m generally a mid striker so generally most are ok for me. 👍
