“I’ve always felt at home in Singapore,” he says. “In a world that’s becoming increasingly difficult, its specialness shines more.”

That last part was great. He didn’t want to cast a shadow and want the next generation to find their own way. I respect that
Making money is a matter of luck 😅. He's so humble.
humble and honest
Great discussion with the important glimpses :) Welcome Ray Dalio, to Singapore 🇸🇬
Thank you for sharing this conversation! I always get inspired by Ray because of his wisdom and willingness to share it. He is a very meaningful mentor to me❤
Nice one Sir (Ray Dalio), may God bless you with good health and sound mind for a long long time, so that you can continue to guide and mentor the younger generations.
Love this interview. Thanks ST.
Much respect to him
Nice outfit, it looks very warm and cosy
where can i watch a more lengthy and full interview ?
Meaningful work and meaningful relationship
Best take away from this 6 min video!
A dinner like this is worth $50,000
Man, Singaporeans have such rubbish attention span and comprehension skills. If they are eating thunder rice, nasi lemak and oyster from Lau Pa Sat, how does the meal even add up to $50k?
Many thanks to the first-world PAP govt for its ability to attract foreign investments and creating lots of job opportunities for s'poreans.❤❤
Let's always do alot of good ❤
Nam myoho renge kyo
Where is the rest of the interview?
He merely touched the local food as Sumiko wrote in the article.
Well billionaires are VERY careful about what they put into their mouth , preferable dietician-designed meal plans. Nasi lemak and carrot cake is too rich in refined carbohydrates and definitely a no no. So when he request for local food, is just for virtual signalling.
In here for the sushi
The centre of economic growth is moving to South East Asia . Some countries will outperform peer and become outstanding country to invest
Cash is not trash. He got it wrong.
This guy is rich. I bet he has more than $1 million
The climate scale now likely has tipped as more people and life forms are dying from continuing fossil fuel use than from would from its discontinuance. Cost benefit has flipped
❤❤❤👏👏👏🙂🙂🙂
One of temsaek investor 😂🤣😅
Just to add that SpaceX has launched more than 360 Falcon 9s into low earth orbit with only ONE failure of the 2nd stage not firing as planned, while Boeing could NOT even get ONE successful flight.............by the way, heard of Charles Goodyear who was supposed to takeover Ho Ching as CEO of Temasek in 2009, but was abruptly sacked when the time came. Maybe TH/MOF should release Goodyear from any confidential info contract. I believe SGP & TH would hv been much better if that had happened.
6mins?
ST got an interview with Mr RD. Business must be bad in China. How else would he find the time to meet a small time newspaper like ST?
u must either be a more successful billionaire or a just loser.
@@gt5087 If you must know, I'm a multi-millionaire. In any case, still better than you, right? Poor man.
