@@godslayermithrandir7236 He is, Jerry is the only family member who isnt a total psycopath, Beth literally trapped a child in another dimension for years and we can also interpret from the pink sentient knife that she MURDERED PEOPLE AS A CHILD, Morty murdered a lot of people on several episodes and never actually showed any regret for more then 10 minutes (except when they first switched Earths but then when he got back there after Rick reseted portal travelers he acted like a total dick and tried to put himself on a moral high horse clearly not giving a shit about the fact that he fucked up that entire world and then just abandoned it), i dont think i need to explain myself about Rick, he's a total psycopath with a god complex and Summer is just a narcisistic bitch. Jerry is by FAR the most normal member on that family (funny how he's the only one who doesnt have rick's genes, i wonder what that could mean)
Because despite how cool Shane is character-wise, his writing is butchered to pieces the instant Lori comes into the picture. Despite how pathetic Jerry's character became over time, Jerry came back on top for his family when it counts. Another thing is that this Rick actually does just destroys everything and leave it behind, look at Morty's OG dimension for example getting Cronenberged
Relatable, except it was with horror/crime mystery shows, it was really fun waking up on a saturday, walking up to your living room and seeing thirteen ghosts on the tv
Jerry is the most underrated character in Rick and Morty Everything in this short is so accurate, unironically Jerry is a far greater man than Rick could ever become. Steadfast and Loyal too a fault, a diligent provider (although adamantly failure in that regard) and most importantly genuinely supports Beth and his children. Truly the best moments in the show is when Jerry stands up for himself. I still remember the moment when OG reality Jerry scolded Morty for abandoning them. - Your mother and sister DIED Morty! The perfect emphasis for moments like these are when watching your mother cry vs. your father cry. When any other character in R&M has some monologue it’s either redundant or pure comedic relief. But when Jerry is the one who starts making sense, there is some pretty heavy shit going down.
Yeah in season one he was the most caring person in the family besides maybe Morty then the writers made him more selfish to garner hate for him even though his character wasn’t originally like that
@@justso-gr3jj over the course of series jerry has clearly grown more and more non complacent and willing to stand and argue with people, this is its logical conclusion
@@justso-gr3jj i think this is the perfect conclusion. Rick despite who he is deep down is a terrible person responsible for literal genocides for the dumbest, stupidest and most petty reasons. Not only that but rick as a family member has been nothing but a literal parasite within the text of the show, literally cutting off every reality he is in from his portal gun where the family chose to not let him in. Not only that but he's absolutely a corrupting influence to the kids summer and morty, who both go from average teenagers to acting almost just like rick. Jerry though has been through the worst of it. From his wife literally cheating on him with herself, to on multiple occasions finally achieving his dream jobs and genuinely providing for the family only to immediately have everything yanked out from under him every time by rick. Rick is the villian of his own story repeatedly and to have jerry of all characters finally stand up to rick, the genuinely most normal person in the entire cast, would be a perfect send off for the character and probably the series
Everyone's focused on Jerry, bot nobody's talking about how Rick's sad face of resignation and acceptance is entirely accurate to the canon. He's aware he just destroys everything, including his family's lives. And if they did have a Jerry like this? They probably would be better off without a Rick and their lives, and he knows it.
Remember, although it may be less cool, jerry consistently stands up to rick through out the show. Hes kinda a loser, but he stands up to the guy who could warp reality and fight gods.
The season 2 finale is the best proof for this. After the Galactic Federation took over the Earth, Rick and the Smith started live as fugitives in the galaxy. After a while Jerry said that if they continue doing this they'll either get killed by the Federation if they locate us or we live rest of our lives in a miserible condition. Jerry offered a third solution, giving Rick to the Federation for their safety, saying Rick would never do anything for his family. Beth and the kids refused but Rick overheard the conversation and decided to dox himself for their safety. It worked.
Jerry ironically is a better man than Rick. Jerry never jumped ship from his family. He never gave up on them. He would never leave them in a cronenberg earth and replace them like they were just accessories.
Jerry is honestly so underrated he’s easily the most relatable character in the show, especially at his lowest point when nobody was there for him and he didn’t have the superhuman powers that Rick has to turn every situation in his favor. He was truly vulnerable in a way that no other character in that show can be.

Crazy that since the newer season has started, and they swapped brains, Jerry has been able to stick up for himself more. They've both affected each other in different ways, Rick now actually stays to banter with him, showing how he has grown to respect Jerry a little bit
Ricks mission in life is complete, he has no reason to stay being an asshole anymore
they didn't swap brains, it was kind of a mixture, each of them had part-Jerry part-Rick
but i get your point.
I also feel like the beginning (of the pissmaster ep) he respected Jerry a little for winning the fight cause his face got super mad when he won, he disproved Rick.
This twd crossover is sick haha

God damn this brings sadness
Rick been real quite after doofus jerry been speaking
No wonder he got nerfed, This what will happen if Jerry are Normal Southern Dad.

that scene made me so sad in the walking dead 😢
Rick proceeds to raise his gun, just for Jerry to see the multiverse-destroying madness that Rick created in a second

No he wasn't lol, if you pay attention closely while rewatching you find out that he was sleeping with ricks with even before the apocalypse 😭 good written character but definitely a sociopath that was waiting for an excuse like the apocalypse to happen. He didn't know how to compromise with people, which lead to his death, he thought he was much stronger than he actually was, all because he cucked his best friends wife(OUT OF ALL PEOPLE HIS LITERAL ONLY FRIENDS WIFE), yes totally the best character 🤓☝🏽☝🏽

That scene from walking dead was so emotional
WHY ARE YOU SO GOOD AT DRAWING
Tbh Jerry is the most normal in that entire family, Rick is RIC, Morty let’s his hormones decide for him, Summer is a drug using sarcastic bi-otch, and Beth is a Narcissist who doesn’t love her husband and her only love was her literal clone because she the only one who is perfect for her, herself
Lmao maybe u til you see his true colors during the episode beth and beth have an affair.
Bro wasn't even mad they were cheating, he was mad he wasn't in control of the cheating so he tried to play them emotionally.
@@godslayermithrandir7236and that means anything because?
@@vestal9050 they said he was the most normal. He's not. Only being mad at your cheating wife because she wasn't letting you be a cuck is not normal marital reaction.
@@godslayermithrandir7236 it didn’t make him mad is made him heart broken, he literally turn into a bug too feel protection, and had a flash back to when he had a crush on her
@@godslayermithrandir7236 He is, Jerry is the only family member who isnt a total psycopath, Beth literally trapped a child in another dimension for years and we can also interpret from the pink sentient knife that she MURDERED PEOPLE AS A CHILD, Morty murdered a lot of people on several episodes and never actually showed any regret for more then 10 minutes (except when they first switched Earths but then when he got back there after Rick reseted portal travelers he acted like a total dick and tried to put himself on a moral high horse clearly not giving a shit about the fact that he fucked up that entire world and then just abandoned it), i dont think i need to explain myself about Rick, he's a total psycopath with a god complex and Summer is just a narcisistic bitch. Jerry is by FAR the most normal member on that family (funny how he's the only one who doesnt have rick's genes, i wonder what that could mean)
I like how in Rick and Morty because of the way the lore is any and every parody is technically cannon
Why does this go harder then the actual scene
Because despite how cool Shane is character-wise, his writing is butchered to pieces the instant Lori comes into the picture. Despite how pathetic Jerry's character became over time, Jerry came back on top for his family when it counts. Another thing is that this Rick actually does just destroys everything and leave it behind, look at Morty's OG dimension for example getting Cronenberged

Also the sick art

I miss being 10 and seeing my mother watch TWD in the front room out of nowhere.
Relatable, except it was with horror/crime mystery shows, it was really fun waking up on a saturday, walking up to your living room and seeing thirteen ghosts on the tv
why does this work so well
Nah this actually fits to well
Brooooo this was genuinely awesome
Jerry is the most underrated character in Rick and Morty
Everything in this short is so accurate, unironically Jerry is a far greater man than Rick could ever become.
Yeah in season one he was the most caring person in the family besides maybe Morty then the writers made him more selfish to garner hate for him even though his character wasn’t originally like that
Your art is amazing
Pls don't ever stop making content. definitely gonna get poster too
We need to hear Jerry say, "Let me tell you somethin'" now
Rick and Morty walking dead colab breaks the time barrier
It’s surprising how fitting this is
Technically in a universe with infinite amount of possibilities not only is this cannon but this is the coolest jerry in existance.
Awesome artwork.
Imagine if Rick and Morty was animated like this would literally change The landscape of adult swim forever
Like it already didn't? Pay attention my guy
@@justso-gr3jj over the course of series jerry has clearly grown more and more non complacent and willing to stand and argue with people, this is its logical conclusion
Wdym? Adult swim has literally cycled through every animation style imaginable, some scratchy semi realism wouldn’t change shit lol
@@justso-gr3jj yea but within the universe of rick and morty he is not a character but a person
Jerry finally grew a pair and stood up to Rick
First time I watched this scene it almost made me cry they were like brothers

@@MisterO.S who's shane?
@@MisterO.S I'm joking
@@MisterO.S ok
This scene kicked ass in twd and Rick&Morty
Everyone's focused on Jerry, bot nobody's talking about how Rick's sad face of resignation and acceptance is entirely accurate to the canon. He's aware he just destroys everything, including his family's lives. And if they did have a Jerry like this? They probably would be better off without a Rick and their lives, and he knows it.
The ultimate spinoff
Amazing animation and art!
Unironically, the original jerry lives in a apocalypse
Not anymore
This is on so many levels right now…..
Very creative and well done
God I wanna see an arch where Jerry just snaps finally
Believe it or not I've been waiting on this Collab🤙
Jerry spittin' on that beat drop tho frfr
This is the type of shit I want on my algorithm
It worked.
love both these shows
Why does the sound fit better with Rick and Jerry than it does in the actual show
Need more of them please 🙏
Unironically really great art! I fuccin love the line work. My favorite illustration was the end with Jerry holding the gun
For a game being this beautiful I didn’t expect it to be that gory. Can’t wait for this game to release and see one-handed speedruns 🔥🔥
Shane would still be alive if he wasnt so obsessed with Lori..
I need this series.

I need this series.
PLEASE.
The oryginal scene is from The Walking Dead season 2 episode 12
A walking dead rick and morty spin off would go crazy
Why’d he point the gun toward us??? We’re just the bystanders! 🤣🤣🤣
Its rick pov
Jerry ironically is a better man than Rick. Jerry never jumped ship from his family. He never gave up on them. He would never leave them in a cronenberg earth and replace them like they were just accessories.
Jerry is honestly so underrated he’s easily the most relatable character in the show, especially at his lowest point when nobody was there for him and he didn’t have the superhuman powers that Rick has to turn every situation in his favor. He was truly vulnerable in a way that no other character in that show can be.
Damn,Jerry build different.
