The gap in the T-track allows for easy insertion of the clamp midway along its length. Pure genius. Also love the extended bottom section that will index the base of the clamp and prevent spinning. Very nicely engineered. Thank you for sharing.
Terrific explanation, Dennis! I'm stll himming and hawing about creating a vertical mounting surface on my MK1, so this info is really helpful. Thanks ever so much.

We're glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for your comment!
That setup is very well done, sir! Nice work. It makes my vertical setup look like it was made by a caveman. At least mine works well enough.
As long as it works, that's the most important part! 😎
I'd love to see a vertical clamping set up similar to this for the AltMill! It looks great!
That's a great idea!

We think so too! Thanks for your comment 👍
great ideas. I have clamps and t track, and I’m going to try it! I’ve been wanting to try some cnc joinery.
Awesome! Share your experiences to the socials!
Do you have info on table build?
We'll get in touch with Dennis and see if he's willing to provide some!
@@SienciLabs I am also very interested.
