I never cared for quartz but the last few years, I have developed a huge appreciation for high end quartz. Less fuss, more accurate and more durable. I wear quartz 90% of the time these days! That FP is stunning! In many cases, there is more engineering in a high end quartz than there is in an auto in the same price range!

Love the watch! Curious if you know the answer, but for the quartz, does this use a standard battery? Or would this always need to go back to FP Journe for a swap every 8-10 years (from how long it seems to last based on research)?

Quartz will never rule mechanical! Fishing Purchase Journe, prices are 2 to 3 times overboard, hype and ugliness! AP and Patek are the only King’s!
