    when pushing the cinders back the brake fluid will go up to the top box and may leak as yours did on the handle bar

    That shit brake clean is good nothing and from my experience with that caliper they want rebuilding every 5 years

    Could you show how to change break levers, install a top box. Some basic stuff. Don’t find many vids on this at all.

    Thanks for your video, I learn more, I have Honda silver wing 125cc, it is easier for me because I am nifty 😁 It's time for changes, because the brakes no longer respond to the controls
    Thank you!

      @@DTMotorcyclesEssex I really like the engines, to see them but I like the ones on the automatic, after I take the suzuki burgman 650 executive, I sell it, it has great safety, because everything I've changed, it's not chinese parts.
      Good luck in traffic!

    You don,t need a rebuild kit you take the lid off your oil res on your bar an undo the lid an pump your front brake lever a few times this will push the pistons out just few pumps not lots cos there come out an there a git to get back in 👍

    Working my way through your vids, just one point you shouldn't be using copper slip on any bolts if your going to torque them up to spec

    • @DTMotorcyclesEssex
      @DTMotorcyclesEssex  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Really? I've always used it for bolts and torqued them up to prevent them seizing and never had no problems

    • @markclough7222
      @markclough7222 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does effect how tight bolts are when bolts aren't dry as intended. If i ever use a tiny amount i never torque them usung a torque wrench to be on the safe side

    Especially love the torque spec wait at the end. Did you say firty or firteen mate? That fucking dog was barking .

      @@DTMotorcyclesEssex to be fair mate. This worked for me. My brakes were ceased and cleaning them helped. Ordered new pads but, I can see corrosion on the top rim of the pistons which won’t allow them to go all the way back in. Would be great if you could show how to replace the pistons . Got a bid on eBay at the moment of £40 for 2 new ones. Seller wants £55. Bit steep.

      @@Labgorilla I would of made a video on how to rebuild the callipers but unfortunately I sold this bike on, I thought mine needed rebuilding but in the end I just used so much brake cleaner and elbow grease if the pistons won’t go back down you can use a spanner 🔧 to sort of push it in between the piston and calliper and twist it and force it down and then put it all back together see how your brakes feel if there still sticking then definitely rebuild them or replace them 👌🏻

      @@Labgorilla but I will definitely be doing a video on rebuilding a brake callipers just need to wait until I come across a bike that needs it I’m glad my video helped you mate 👌🏻
