CR Falcon Pro 10W never runs a job from Lightburn correctly

Received a new Creality Falcon Pro 10W laser engraver with firmware CV30-Pro-MASTER-Release V1.0.0 20230921-0947.
Works fine when running a job from the TF card. But it just never completes a job from within Lightburn 1.6.03 correctly.
Either it shifts part of the engraving or stops in the middle of a job.
My other GRBL based laser engraver just works fine everytime with Lightburn. Maybe time to tear it upart and flash an own ESP32-S3 firmware (o;
