We have two YBPs. The HDMI out quality is poor, which means we can’t run cameras through them for our main feeds. So, we can’t use the overlays the way we intended. We use them for intro timers only at this point which is not a value...but we own them. I was optimistic that the latest update would address the issue, but it does not.
To be honest even if the church is mobile I wouldn't recommend Yolo Box I'd say go with Atem and a laptop. If a complete wireless setup is required there's nothing better than Yolo Box.
Thanks for the review of an interesting gadget. Is it possible to get around the problem of limiting 6 video sources? If I connect 3 cameras, then only 3 sources remain for additional angles and video materials. This is not enough. Is there any solution?
@@RylandRussell no soy defensor de Yolobox, solo doy una respuesta acorde a mi trabajo en streaming durante muchos años y con muchos equipos, el tema de monitoreo de audio es simple, es como una computadora, el monitoreo de audio nunca será a tiempo real, a menos que tengas el Asio4all instalado en windows, por ende, en YoloBox que es andrioid es mucho mas complicado, la ubicación de puertos es un desarrollo de la app que si podría mejorar pero por el diseño no creo que sería bueno tener un cuadro negro reservado para la entrada "hdmi 2" cuando no tengo nada en el "hdmi 2", ahora, hay algo que tienen que entener, YoloBox es android, va tener muchas cosas que nos les gusta ya que estamos acostumbrados a Windows y mac, como justamente eso, las velocidades de cuadros en el "hdmi out" como en el program y la transmisión no van a ser constantes, y mas cosas que tenemos que tenemos que asimilar si queremos trabajar con android, lo mismo pasa con windows, y con mac, todo tiene sus ventajas y desventajas
It would be very handy if you could access your Google Drive from the Yolobox. Not to pull from it while streaming. But just to save from Google onto connected SD or USB.

Ya I could see that, main annoyance with the atem for mobile is having to cart out a multi view monitor and no wifi.

So you have a fix for the audio latency when monitoring, the placement of the ports, hdmi output frame rate issues?

@@DanielCanoTech audio engineer here. Monitoring audio in real time has been around for multiple decades. Even cheap usb audio interfaces can do it.
