It's hard not to feel relaxed with this on.
Words can't describe what this song means to me. It's the most calming composition I know.
Vergen is honestly the place I have liked the most in the whole witcher universe, it was so epic having all the races banding together against redania.

I think that the Vergen was among the best places I have been into in a game, soundtrack was a huge part of that :)

Music in this game is just superb!
After having played this game years ago, I would always remember this song playing, but could never remember which part of the game it was played in. I would be playing the game and think to myself "damn, this song is so relaxing and catchy", so I went in search of it on the internet and I was so excited when I found this hour long version 😊 I will play this video now whenever I'm struggling to fall asleep, I just put it on low volume and drift off.
While drifting off, the song conjures up in my head the nights that my dog and I go camping out on an island at a nearby lake. I picture the two of us in the tent with the embers of our fire crackling outside. There's a beautiful starry sky above us and not a single human sound to be heard, just the Loon on the lake and some crickets and leaves rustling in the wind. I never make it past the 5 minute mark of the song 😅. This image I conjure up in my head helps get me through the Winter months as well, dreaming of the days that my dog and I can canoe over to our little island. 🏕️

There is incorrect info in the description about song composer - Marcin Przybyłowicz. He composed the soudtrack only for the third part of the Witcher, that is Wild Hunt. This track however, Vergen by Night, was composed solely by Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz, who collaborated with Adam Skorupa for The Witcher 2 soundtrack.
All 3 are credited in Witcher 2 OST. (Though if you've got any source stating that this particular track was composed without Przywyłowicz involved, then fair enough.)
I think Marcin Przybyłowicz was credited for Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition, but true, the original release had only Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz and Adam Skorupa listed as OST composers.

They need to remaster witcher 2. I loved the story elements but the combat and movement are extremely outdated
Try the pirouette mod that replaces the roll. Makes Geralt fight more like depicted in the books & looks less silly.
