Yeah thumbs up for this guy. kristoffer strand, really made my day just by Reading this comment. i was suicidale, but now i have a reason to live. Thank you.
Magda Chlebicka just because it’s the title track of the album doesn’t mean it was a big hit or appreciated as much as it should have been... it was not even released as a single like Hangar 18 and Holy Wars was... so yes, it’s an underrated song
“It’s not fair”... love that line... Megadeth is an assault on the ears.. they bring the music to the brink of overwhelming, and then they switch gears... brilliant
Love this album. I was lucky enough to see them live in '92 with the best line up of Dave Mustaine, Marty Friedman, David Ellefson and Nick Menza. Oh yeah and Pantera were the support band.
Now you understand.. Megadeth are the kings of Thrash.. And Rust in Peace is the BEST of the BEST of Thrash/Speed Metal albums! 👌 New album drops in about 6ish months around June I’d say.
And thats the right way to listen to metal music. Hearing the full album is a must to grasp what a band can offer and see how good they can be in different songs.
saulo Andrioli yes and no i often go and listen full albums If i have heard 2or3 tracks that im invested in but of course sometimes albums give you even greater contrast of single song but sometimes bands have way too diffrent style in song on song basis so whole album might not be in my taste so i want few great song as base before i took a deeper dive in bands catalogue
But sometimes you dont like the entire album, just certain songs that you enjoy. That's how I feel about bands like Starset, I love their entire second album but their first album only has 2 or 3 that I like and I've played the whole album back and forth. So what you're saying isn't always the case
I say do the entire Metallica S&M album (both disks). Hear great live favorites and also enjoy the classical additions and 2 new exclusive tracks. Then stop with metallica for awhile.. I could make lists... but everything like pantera and iron maiden are being plastered all over your comments. If you want to hear something drasticly different listen to Zao and Extol.
You definitely need to do more album reactions:) there are few things that need to be listen in complet: Pink Floyd - dark side of the moon, Tool - Latelarus, Metallica - Master of Pupets, Pantera - Cowboys from hell.
Dystopia. Peace sells is my 3rd favorite album of all time but I think he will get more out of Dystopia because of the differences and similarities to Rust in Peace.
I always thought of Dawn Patrol as like an intro to Rust In Peace. It has a backwards cause and effect thing going on, where Dawn Patrol is the result if the warheads don't Rust In Peace.
Excellent choice for your first album reaction. One of the true metal masterpieces. Not a bad song on it. In one of the videos you mention Dave's voice. Im not a huge fan of his vocals on the whole but his voice fits very well in certain songs. One of the things that makes the album so good to me is that his voice works in every track on it.
Best metal album ever. I honestly think you get more from the songs in context of the album on this one than you do as individual tracks. Like Tornado of Souls will melt your brain but after Lucretia it's so much more intense.
Megadeth and Judas Priest toured together for these albums. Saw both at the Kingston Armory, in January,1991, finals week senior year of high school. On a Wednesday, the night we declared war on Iraq. Dave dedicated Holy War to Saddam Hussein, shoved it right up his ass! 6 hours later I was taking a midterm in Physics!
I didn't know "my creations". Was nice discovering it because of this reaction video. I remember buying this disc when I was 16 in the early 2000's almost as I was doing it secretly. I felt just like you when I finished it. Dope. I could never get over it...
There's no bass slapping in Megadeth, all played with a pick for a FAT BASS SOUND. :D Also what's mind blowing is that Dave mustaine (The singer) plays the guitar while singing.. He's a BADASS

If you're going to do a full Album again, I'd definitely recommend Operation Mindcrime by Queensryche. It's a concept album that can hardly be listened to any other way than straight through.
Polaris was the first nuclear weapon for the submarines, if deployed it would have been a first strike weapon, flight time under 8 minutes. Since you love the harbingers of thrash metal, you should try Testament "Practice what you preach" or Overkill "Evil never dies
I'm grinning watching you experiencing this album for the first time. Love seeing your joy which we Megadeth fans have felt for years. This album is 28 years old and it hasn't aged one bit. \m/ \m/
Great you did this! You make me remember the first time I listened to this album when it came out. Megadeth was already my favorite band so you can imagine how I felt with this album. Thanks for bringing back those memories and for reminding me that Megadeth is great, and is still great for new generations.

Dawn Patrol and Five Magics demonstrate perfectly that it's alright to take the album slow at times, and in the right way. One of the few perfect albums in existence, glad you enjoyed it!
My Creation is a bonus track. Youve just listened to one of the top 10 metal albums of all time!! You need to react to ANTHRAX- Fistful of Metal!!!! Flotsam and Jetsam: CUATRO!! ANNIHILATOR: Alice in Hell!! Testament: The New Order

Congratulations on your first full length reaction to a REAL metal album. Looking forward to seeing more. Pantera, Metallica, Slayer, etc.
Thank you for doing this. The next Megadeth album reaction should be Peace Sells... But Who's Buying, or Dystopia. New Megadeth record coming in 2019 get hyped! If you're gonna do an individual Megadeth song reaction please do Rattlehead (Final Kill Remaster)
This full album idea is fuckin awesome dude. This gave me an appreciation of Megadeth I've never had, and I've listened to metal for 15 odd years. Helping expand peoples horizons whilst making it damn fun. Thanks dude
You should react to 'Operation Mindcrime' by Queensryche.. ..best concept album choice, that You could make!! ..or even more important: 'KINGS OF METAL' by MANOWAR!!

Just a note: My Creation is a bonus track that was previously unreleased. It wasn't part of the original Rust In Peace album. The original release ended with Polaris. EDIT: you figured it out at the end lol
Megadeth "Countdown to Extinction" I personally like Megadeth better but I love Metallica arguably the forefathers of modern metal even though Dave Mustaine created thrash so they're both equally important

you gotta do more album reactions, sitting down and listening to an entire album really shapes the ears and progresses your understanding of what you're hearing ;) i recommend Jinjer - Cloud Factor for an album, you'd probably love the grooves
Some must-hear albums: Iron Maiden: Powerslave + Seventh Son of a Seventh Son Judas Priest: Sad Wings of Destiny (on the border between rock/metal, but a masterpiece nonetheless) + Painkiller (the purest metal record ever) Metallica: Ride the Lightning + Master of Puppets (in that chronological order, as RTL's production is a little dated, unlike Master) Testament: The Legacy + The New Order + Dark Roots of Earth (thrash like Megadeth/Metallica/Slayer etc. so expect sick riffs, raw energy and amazing solos) Overkill: The Years of Decay (another thrash metal masterpiece, one of the very best records of the sub-genre! And quite epic tbh) Sepultura: Beneath the Remains + Arise (the peak of thrash metal?! Certainly 2 of the very best records, from a band whose singer isn't complete "hit or miss") Blind Guardian: Every album in the 90's, especially Imaginations From the Other Side + Nightfall In Middle-Earth (if you're ever gonna check out Power Metal, this is unquestionably THE best band and absolute kings of the genre, whereas thrash is much more contested. The band Rhapsody of Fire got some very epic 10+ min songs tho). Nevermore: Dead Heart In A Dead World + This Godless Endeavor (one of the most underrated metal bands, taking their individual talents into perspective.. too good for the metal community, and their "lack" of success reflects that. The riffs, solos, lyrics, drums, diversity, it's all top class) Death: Symbolic + Human (DON'T start with Cannibal Corpse or another super low-guttural-vocals band, if you want to really get into death metal. Start with something on par with the greatest of them all. These albums will blow your mind, and hopefully turn you over to listening to more than 1 song of extreme metal at a time) Dream Theater: Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence CD2 + Black Clouds and Silver Linings Symphony X: The Odyssey + Divine Wings of Tragedy + V: The New Mythology Suite + Paradise Lost -these 2 bands are progressive metal, and those records are all masterpieces (more or less). DON'T start out with Opeth, if you want to get into Prog Metal, it'll bore you to death, if you are uninitiated with the genre's (relatively long) albums. Epica: The Holographic Principle (if you want to get into Symphonic METAL, this is the band to go for. Nightwish borders a lot on pop-rock at times. This record fucking rocks!)
Do their song 'Go To Hell' from the "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey" movie. A totally underrated Megadeth song. It fits in around the same time as rust In Peace and much better than 'My Creation'.
Ok Alex, I just watched all three of these vids. I'm commenting here because it's the last one. I am a huge Megadeth fan, my favorite band, and yes, Rust In Peace is a metal masterpiece. The best thrash metal album ever!
Well, Halloween is not far off. It's time to do a reaction to the Helloween group. The name of the song is Halloween. Helloween - Halloween. Studio version. Please
I bought this album the day it came out, back in 91 I believe, it's still on my iTunes playlist after all these years, and still very much one of my favourite ever album...
If you wanna do another full album, I suggest Queensrÿche: Operation Mindcrime. Concept album with solid instrumentals and a really emotionally involved storyline. Weeaboo loved it.
Waited to hear the full album reaction before commenting but brilliant reaction as always. Especially the jaw dropping parts especially. My favourite megadeth of them all 5 magics my fave song (especially from a bass playing perspective) Please do Metallica full Master of Puppets (best metallica album ever) please. Keep it real 🤘🤘
Thanks Alex you made me happy seeing you happy hearing something I heard an loved so many years ago, I can only hope this is something that helps you grow an see life from a different perspective an not get pigeon toed. 🤟
Not best. Very awesome though! Rust, by far, is best. Megadeth by far, is better than Metallica! First off, every "Great", Metallica album, was influenced by Mustaine! They kicked him out. Let's be honest here. There is one post Mustaine, album, that is decent. And Justice! Then what?

Death: Symbolic + Human (DON'T start with Cannibal Corpse or another super low-guttural-vocals band, if you want to really get into death metal. Start with something on par with the greatest of them all. These albums will blow your mind, and hopefully turn you over to listening to more than 1 song of extreme metal at a time)
Dream Theater: Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence CD2 + Black Clouds and Silver Linings
Symphony X: The Odyssey + Divine Wings of Tragedy + V: The New Mythology Suite + Paradise Lost
-these 2 bands are progressive metal, and those records are all masterpieces (more or less).
Listen to Judas Priest - Painkiller. That album is a heavy metal bible from start to finish.
Do their song 'Go To Hell' from the "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey" movie.
A totally underrated Megadeth song.
It fits in around the same time as rust In Peace and much better than 'My Creation'.
This is the best I've heard in all my life.
Ok Alex, I just watched all three of these vids. I'm commenting here because it's the last one. I am a huge Megadeth fan, my favorite band, and yes, Rust In Peace is a metal masterpiece. The best thrash metal album ever!
Vulgar Display of Power Album!
I love Megadeth! So I'm happy you listened to one of my all time favorite albums! They have dp much more you need to hear!
Well, Halloween is not far off. It's time to do a reaction to the Helloween group. The name of the song is Halloween. Helloween - Halloween. Studio version. Please
good call
Gotta be the full version, not the shitty 5 minute one from Headbanger’s Ball.
I bought this album the day it came out, back in 91 I believe, it's still on my iTunes playlist after all these years, and still very much one of my favourite ever album...
Faith no more - Epic
Angel Dust album first then The real thing... And then why not King for a day fool for a lifetime?
If you wanna do another full album, I suggest Queensrÿche: Operation Mindcrime. Concept album with solid instrumentals and a really emotionally involved storyline. Weeaboo loved it.
When I saw them play this album, the brought Vic Rattlehead out on stage during Dawn Patrol and he was pointing people out of the crowd for execution
Cool video!! Now try Pantera - Cowboys From Hell
Victor Aitor Etxeverria i second this!
Thanks Alex you made me happy seeing you happy hearing something I heard an loved so many years ago, I can only hope this is something that helps you grow an see life from a different perspective an not get pigeon toed. 🤟
Peace Sells.. But who’s buying. Best Megadeth album
Maybe...
Definitely ! Peace Sells was their masterpiece.
Peace Sells or Rust in Peace. It's very close. I love both albums
Not best. Very awesome though! Rust, by far, is best. Megadeth by far, is better than Metallica! First off, every "Great", Metallica album, was influenced by Mustaine! They kicked him out.
Let's be honest here. There is one post Mustaine, album, that is decent. And Justice! Then what?
@@jasonstone1938 Master of puppets?
Dude you listened to a higher pitch version of Polaris, maybe a little bit faster too. Anyways I fuckin' loved and enjoyed the full album reaction, thank you man.
(Epica - kingdom of heaven please)
I don't have the remasters, so I've never heard "My Creation." Kind of a treat :)
Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengeance (album)
