61 and watch each and every vlog!!! Enjoying every one with a smile on my face! Thanks for keeping me young at heart! Love you two together as well!!! ❤❤
I don’t know if anyone else has suggested, but for the covid collage piece, you could use mod podge, there’s a matte varnish that you could use. It works similar to glue, but it won’t be really glossy. I’ve used it for some of my projects.
Love the new furniture!! Love seeing you come into your adulthood more and more. I appreciate that you also just provide a space for us to all still be childish and creative, keep being you
Loving how your office is coming together, can't wait to see how you style it with the cabinet from the hallway - also love that you wanted to put one of Dianne's books in there, she looked so chuffed when you asked if you could take a copy 🤩🧡
It's so cool when you see the thinking and idea process of someone creative. The covid art piece is amazing, looking forward to seeing more 😊 loved the vlog, it also looks like you're getting more and more invested in the Kefir water 😆
For your artwork, I’d say use an art sealer, like Gesso to seal the wood under the parts of the art that’s lifting away. Then, perhaps glue the lifting art with an archival glue. There are products around that would result in a nice clear, non-yellowing layer on your art. I’d ask an experienced associate at a good art store for advice on sealing your painting.
Really love your Lockdown art work. Looking forwards to see it once its finished. I honestly do not know how you have time for it all, you are an inspiration. xx
My daily….. not a daily vlogger Joe vlog fix! You never fail to brighten up my day and make me smile dude 🫶🏻🌈🙌🏻 Thank you so much! Loving seeing your creative flare coming back….. your artwork is incredible 🎨 Sending all my love and hugs to you both xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
For someone so young, you have really done well for yourself. Lovely sideboard. Try tightening the hinges. Send it back if its faulty. Can't see a company sending that cupboard out like that Joe. You could paint a few walls in different colours. [ feature walls ], as all white everywhere is to clinical. Looking lovely the house. ❤
Love you and Diane in these vlogs. Can't wait to see what you do with the artwork. Lovely idea to hang your own projects on the walls, unique.🎉. Growing your own figs, Diane will be pleased. Sorting out a new home takes time especially when you are both working, surprises to come. Love that new piece of furniture. Take care and stay safe both of you.🏡🙋🎊❤️
I'm absolutely loving these vlogs, been following you for years and years!! Your art is fantastic and your videos are such a wonderful and calming treat for a stressful life!
Really enjoying all this content. It's quite relaxing. I'm am older viewer and I tend to enjoy the home or garden vlogs. You and Dianne are just a joy to watch. (Your plant looked like a Fergus to me,)
I totally agree on the decision on the house tour, this is your safe space and part of your private life so completely respect the decision. Hope you’re settling in ok, it looks lovely. Thanks for the tip re Vito’s vlog, was VERY entertaining, he’s a little gem isn’t he!? Thanks for another enjoyable watch, with these vlogs you are really spoiling us ambassador! 😂
Enjoyed watching it and so looking forward to seeing how your art piece comes out when you do it plus the covid picture is so beautiful and that you are so talented doing your art work
@@ThatcherJoeVlogs of course! It’s been so cool to watch how multi-talented you and your sister are over the years. Unbelievably creative and I love seeing how your brains work!
FOR YOUR ART: you can try matte mod podge behind it where its lifted and over top. Look up some tutorials online. I honestly think it'll look really good with that because it dries matte and can make anything look painted. test it out on a print before you put it on your artwork to test if you like it. Also once you put a glass frame on top it'll be shiny. Most art in museums just have a frame around, no glass. For my gallery walls i take the glass out to give a cleaner look with no reflections. I will say the distressed look is kinda cool but resin would probably ruin it due to its unpredictability. Good luck ◡̈
Only saw the hinges for that cupboard for a second but by the looks of them they're adjustable both forward and backwards and left and right. If you pop the little metal cover off you'll see 4 screws, two attack it to the wood but two adujst the angle. One will pull it back and forwards the other will pull it left or right depending on which way you turn them. Should be an easy fix 🙂
Joe - would love more art related how to vlogs. You are talented in this area and any tips or pointers would be great. Loving the vibe of the vlogs as well.
Joe your blogs are truly amazing, I've been watching Dianne's since she started but only been watching yours since your Poland trip. Love your relaxed way and wacky sense of humour. Keep them coming 😂 X
Nice to see you doing your art again Joe,Love your new furniture,Love the vlog, also I think lt's important to keep some things private so good on you,It's you and Dianne's home after all, look forward to the next vlog 🥰🥰🥰
Love your videos, far more entertaining than anything on tv, you have the ability to make the most mundane things interesting, name suggestion for your Fig plant Freddy or Freda 😊
Yes say something about sideboard. Also make sure it level. The should be able to come out and adjust the hinges. Might even have adjustment screw like you find on wardrobe doors and kitchen cabinets
Hey Joe, I love it when you show us how you do your art. I'm so interesting in how you do the comic art and how you layer images and paint etc. I LOVE the David Bowie one. Can you show us how to do that, I'd love to give it a go , thanks! 🖌🖼
TYMONE!! ( NEW PLANT) I needed this today, been awake most of the night, then vomiting.. You two always cheer me up ❤❤ I think the cupboard must be an asymmetrical design.
Plaster of paris bandages draped irregularly onto an appropriate background gives a wonderful texture to your art. I like to leave it unpainted as the piece comes to life in light and shade 👍
With the texture art piece, it would look so cool if you did that then piped colorful boarders and put fake sprinkles on! It would looks like a homemade frosted cake! o-o might do it myself now tbh. Who knows, maybe Dianne might like it 😅
On the picture that you created in lockdown, you should try hairspray that will give the shine and glaze to make it stand out! =) keep up the good work!
I haven’t gone back to mod podge in a while, forget it exists, would it be clear ? I’ll have to go down the mod podge rabbit hole. Usually use matte medium :)
Another vlog Joe, you are really spoiling us and we will be expecting vlogs all the time. 🤫 I am glad you are feeling better. The doors on the sideboard would annoy me but it is beautiful. I love the Covid art work, it looks fantastic. I am excited to see what you do with the new art work. looking forward to more vlogs. ❤️🎨
The art work is so good it’s always been amazing I love it! ❤ also Dianna needs to put stuff on Vinted for people it will be amazing probably all go straight away 😂
I did a similar art piece using comic book pages on a canvas and I glued it all down with matte mod podge, then sealed the whole thing using a sponge brush and more matte mod podge. It's still a little shiny but it's all stuck down and sealed really well. Resin in my experience makes it super shiny and it also is a huge pain to work with especially on such a large piece
Joe , you should be able to adjust the hinges on each door , it's a cross head , lefty loosy will lower the door and righty tighty will raise the door 😉
Think you are right on the house tour, you got to keep a bit of yourselves for just you. Your new gaff looks lovely. And I think your new plant should be called Fergus, ( I'm a big fan of Outlander)
Hopefully joe you can make adjustments within the hinges to make it drop or life the door, like in kitchen cupboards. For your art, i do mixed media art and use Liquitex Gel Matte Medium to glue paper, fabric , metal, wood, beads, or glass to the surface. It is a thicker type gel. Also good to adding into paint. You can also get Liquitex Matte Medium, which is a more liquid consistency and would be good to stick down your loose paper comi g up.
For your art try Mod Podge - they do a matte finish. PVA might leave a sticky finish, although it's less sticky if you water it down. Woukd a spray sealer work?
Resin would definitely work - it is a pain in the ass, especially for artwork just cos it bubbles a lot. Pva would be shiny but tbh so would resin. My thought would to be to get a custom piece of acrylic (maybe very thin like 2 or 3 mm), to almost encapsulate the board. You can treat acrylic with an anti-glare chemical to prevent that shiny feel as well… Dunno if that helped, but that kind of technique has deffo helped me in various projects (as an ex artist, and current stage designer!)
Sometimes you can adjust the hinges inside to level doors. Try that first.
I was going to say the exact same thing
Was going say same, x
Here here though Joe would of known this
I was gonna say this too! I just noticed one of my doors on my cabinet was slightly not even and I did this to fix it(:
Yes was just about to comment this! 💗 Just loosen the hinges and it should drop them and vice versa
Dianne should set up a Depop/Vinted page to sell some of the clothes she no longer wants, I'm sure a lot of people would be interested! 😀
I would definitely follow her on vinted and buy things due to her style being so cool
She already has
Your artwork is insane! The Covid themed piece is incredible!!
My husband is a joiner, you can adjust the hinges on the doors, that should make them even , it is a lovely piece of furniture!!!
61 and watch each and every vlog!!! Enjoying every one with a smile on my face! Thanks for keeping me young at heart! Love you two together as well!!! ❤❤
You're the best!
Right off the bat, you know Dianne & Joe are great together, when they both agree they'd want a pet cow 😂
I don’t know if anyone else has suggested, but for the covid collage piece, you could use mod podge, there’s a matte varnish that you could use. It works similar to glue, but it won’t be really glossy. I’ve used it for some of my projects.
If I’m not mistaken you should be able to realign the doors from the hinges with a screwdriver
That was exactly what I thought.
I absolutely love your art work Joe, I'd love more vlogs of that, you are so creative!
On it!
Dianne has mentioned having children in almost every single vlog you've uploaded this month 🤣
loving all yours and Dianne's recent vlogs ! thank you for always keeping us entertained
Love the new furniture!! Love seeing you come into your adulthood more and more. I appreciate that you also just provide a space for us to all still be childish and creative, keep being you

🎉❤
It's so cool when you see the thinking and idea process of someone creative. The covid art piece is amazing, looking forward to seeing more 😊 loved the vlog, it also looks like you're getting more and more invested in the Kefir water 😆
No, misaligned doors are not a thing. Adjust the hinges! So lovely having you pop back into my feed. You new home looks lovely.

Thank you (and Dianne) for being such a breath of fresh air! You guys got me through lockdown and I love your content.
Really love your Lockdown art work. Looking forwards to see it once its finished. I honestly do not know how you have time for it all, you are an inspiration. xx

I'm absolutely loving these vlogs, been following you for years and years!! Your art is fantastic and your videos are such a wonderful and calming treat for a stressful life!
Thank you so much!!
I use white Gesso over wood before doing any artwork. Sometimes two coats. It also helps to keep any paper stuck down too.
I always love your artwork! Been enjoying the vlogs so much recently ❤
Your new house is beautiful!! Would love a peak of the view from those large windows
Enjoyed the vlog, lovely new furniture x good luck with the art x
I really love this art vlog. Your new house is like a white canvas, yes please make a lot of Art works. I want to see Joe Sugg Museum.

You can water down PVA glue slightly, to make it flow better. Boy! That poly filler looked like fun to apply!
That art piece is incredible!!
Thank you for your time in making these vlogs. Always making me smile. Loving the artwork!!. Name suggestion for the fig plant figaro
love how joe has so many ways to describe the interior, i wanna say my house is full scandinavian (basically everything is from ikea)
Thank you to you both for your videos, they always make me smile. Feargal for the fig plant 😊🪴
I love your Artwork. I hope to see how your latest artwork turns out.
Joe is just a really lovely person. Really enjoying the vlogs.

My favourite video you've ever made. Thank you.
Wow, thank you!

You need to just use a screwdriver to adjust the doors hinges inside, like the kitchen cupboards👍🏼 I love your Bowie artwork ⚡️
You seem to be really down to earth couple, quite refreshing to see on TH-cam 😊
Yes say something about sideboard. Also make sure it level. The should be able to come out and adjust the hinges. Might even have adjustment screw like you find on wardrobe doors and kitchen cabinets

I'd definitely do some matte mod podge to seal in that amazing covid piece

Fab vlog as always Joe. Always a pleasure to watch ❤

You can definitely try “Mod Podge Matt” to seal the mixed media down 👍🏼
Yes, I was going to suggest Mod Podge matte. It will "glue" the paper down and act as a sealant.
I haven’t gone back to mod podge in a while, forget it exists, would it be clear ? I’ll have to go down the mod podge rabbit hole. Usually use matte medium :)
ahhh there is a matte one!!!
Yes it goes on a cloudy clear white but dries clear bit like pva glue 😊
@@thehoundhedgehoghippie7346 I’ll look into that, and perhaps we will see Joe trying it out 😀
Try altering the hinges on the cupboard doors..Love watching you both sorting the house

Hi Joe, you can get matte varnishes for a matte finish sealant, or matte finish ModPodge. Works a treat for decoupage and artwork 😊👍
