What a lovely family! Her mom was such a doll. She reminds me of my primary doctor; the sweet demeanor, welcoming and honestly treats you like a treasure being their guest - my long winded way of saying polite and kind lol :) I love their culture, I love how everything is so bright and colorful and probably my favorite cuisine - their food is like a work of art and not in the stuffy, culinary school type of way, just authentic - very pleasing to the eyes and palate !

Nothing better than adventures with great friends! I’m so happy that you were able to meet and eat with an Indian family on New Years. What a great trip. 😊

That lovely family almost made me cry because of their humble hospitality and modest pride in doing their best with what they have and being so happy to share it. It reminded me of the humble spirit of my own people, Brazilians. It’s a heartwarming thing to see how often it is those who aren’t wealthy financially who are so wealthy of kindness.

The Indian People are so warm With their spirit, they have such beautiful hospitality and the food that they cook for their guests and their families literally show their souls glowing in the food that they make for their loved ones. These were terrific grandmas. It’s awesome to see videos with such warm spirited people. 😊👍 The level of respect for the elders is so different, in India verses in America. Thank you so much for sharing this video it’s awesome. 😊👍

You should have bought Indian scents when you were in Mumbai. Indian scents also known as "attars" are some of the best scents known. They are quite expensive though but amazing fragrances, and all of them are natural aromatic oils!!

Great video. Best meal I've ever had in my life was a family celebration (college graduation) featuring native Yaqui Indian food. The proud dad and his two brothers prepared for three days and presented a feast of native Mexican food. My favorite was the napalitos, cactus leaves simmered in a spicy gravy. Hard to beat home cooking.

Drumstick here is moringa beans. The drink marks the beginning of summer season and prepares the body for the changing temperatures. Home cooked meals are satisfying. And not at all what is shown in videos with roadside n restaurant food.
The food we indians eat at home is rarely shown in food traveller vlogs.

Mikey, next time you are in Hyderabad, go to Shaanbagh Restaurant in Basheerbagh and Taj Deccan. They have amazing food and be sure to go during lunch time and order the plate meals at any restaurant, it is like a buffet!
