I'm Brazilian, I've been following you for a long time since Crusaders of light, you're a reference and just by showing the points they promised and didn't fulfill, you have my respect! You could do the same as the game channels in Brazil that say the game is perfect, wonderful, but are there showing unfulfilled promises

I left their Discord server and uninstalled the beta yesterday. Not helping them test their game for free. I was so excited for this game, especially after WoW put the game time token in Classic Wrath.
Same,.already uninstalled the game lol it would still be the same mmorpg. How does the company run if they will not add a cash item that will attract you to top up? Of course the slogans were just empty words. Chinese games are always like this and not gonna change. Period

@Spid I just thought of something GENIUS, Big brain thinking. Here me out, I'm for real.
Since Tarisland has servers, how about we have a server that is 100% non-pay2w, no cash shop entirely. We can keep the current monetization for the other servers because devs and stakeholders need to get paid.
But we can also appeal to the masses who are against p2w by having a server without a cash shop!
This right here is a win win situation, and easy to implement as there's no additional work needed to make it happen.

it's a player trading marketplace tho, it's not company selling "stats" just other players selling items with stats that are obtained in game. that's completely different thing tho

I know how you feeling and i feel the same. I will propably play the game but not as much as i was thinking because at the end of the day whatever you do you never gonna reach the top without money. But still i have a 1% in my soul that they propably change that and make it fare as they promise.

Honestly this game has one of the or maybe the best graphical MMO in mobile(better than BDO in my perspective), i enjoyed the game been playing 30hours on this, but devs here are not trusthworthy so its already a trash game in my radar.
too bad this game has the WoW vibes but at the end monetization kills games. And this is a great example.

Can they make gold non trade able. It can still be used in trade/market but at least it would lessen or limit gold trading. That way the only way they can buy gold is to sell an item to the seller.

It's 2023, and I can't even fathom that some people still hold onto hope that a Free-to-Play MMORPG game won't be pay-to-win. There's no need for surprise anymore. If you dislike pay-to-win games, then perhaps Free-to-Play games aren't the right fit. Opt for single-player games with in-game progression, but bear in mind that creating and maintaining large-scale games with servers requires funding. Remember, game companies aim for profit, irrespective of the business model or monetization features. The gaming landscape has shifted towards these monetization practices, so, for the sake of your own enjoyment, consider your choices. If you want change, the only way is to abstain from playing such games. However, if the itch to play persists, don't expect the industry to alter its practices to cater to individual preferences.

Guild Wars 2 is the only game I've not been disappointed in their cash shop model.

In the beginning when crafted gear is uncommon, it will cost a fortune. Im talking mortgage payments worth. Later when materials are more plentiful everyone will be able to trade for them. They pay to stay ahead of the price curve.

You cannot. And the gems that you can buy are solely for appearance items. So how do you figure its p2w. The only coins come from the benefits card. And in description that's says only 1 time per account.

Sad but unsurprising state of things. I think this game really has a shot as a non-P2W, cross platform MMO. So many of these games fail one after another it’s a wonder why they don’t try something new for once.
Market it as F2P-Not P2W, change it up right before the game is going to be released.

They are insulting our intelligence by denying it, they are literally saying oh look we Don't sell items on the shop, but proceed to make you able to by gold and literally purchase anything in the game, items mounts even silver the main game currency tha allows you to upgrade everything and also, vigor système that allow you craft item you gotta wait 3 days so you can have your vigor back and craft so Brace yourselves for vigor potions on the shop, just these things tells you a lot about the game, i really appreciate your honesty spid, please just ignore tarisland from now on, it's just a waste of time, they are insulting the whole community.

Don't mind there being clear P2W elements in a game (I play BDO), it allows me make a decisive decision if I want to play that game and if I actually want to spend money, but when developers/publishers are intentionally deceitful, particularly in this manner, the game and company are dead to me going forward. On Crusader of Light there was huge P2W and still F2P Players was with them in Raids. There is no Game without P2W. The Whales can‘t play alone - they need aswell good Players at the end for raids.

Tarisland should think twice before releasing the card and make it sellable on the trade. Even if they really want player to spend on this, at least make the benefit card ONLY BENEFITS to those who purchase it and make it bound or remove the gold rewards when you purchase the cards so the players who are lazy to farm the golds cannot abuse the card gold rewards and buy all those enchancement things on the trade.
Someone needs to make a pay 2 lose game. Im talking the items make your stats worse. If you can conquer the pvp scene hell yeah.

First of all, I don't know if the game has any kind of PVP or ranking so having higher stats gives you advantage against f2p players.
But anyways, my solution is always the same. I play the game the way I like, at my own pace, etc.
If I feel the game respects me and the in-game currency is worth (ex: for 2$ you get 4 refine protectors, or you get a cool mount for 5$, or something like that), I might buy something. If I feel they are abusing players or making players depend on spending money regularly, I don't put a single penny on it and play until it's unbearable as a f2p player.
