@ferociousfeind8538 i’ve played Star Citizen, its honestly not that hard to get the in-Game money fast when you know what your doing, but the shop prices are outrageous: for somę ships you need to pay several THOUSAND dollars and any ship that is purchased with in-Game currency gets taken away every wipe so the people spending 120$ or so on an ares inferno just ruin the fun at the beginning of every new patch (and don’t get me started on the mantis buyers). Apart from that the Game is actually a lot of fun with friends even when unfinished, but it has a LOT of problems that turn people away very easily

I think this kind of content has good potential. With how predatory and time consuming game mechanics have been getting, it would be nice to learn about how to beat those repetitive aspects. Also it would be interesting to see how the more notoriously botted games are done, like Runescape.

Honestly these are the types of bots I think we can all apreciate in games, they aren't harmful to the play environment because its not being used for pixel perfect placement and messing up human play but rather just a random mess of troop placements to quickly finish a list of achievements. Very cool stuff.

sometimes I wonder how people still say that Supercell games aren't pay to win but then I remember they're probably kids and/or people who haven't really played games outside of mobile
and yes I know there's a good bunch of mobile games that have actual zero pay 2 win elements in them (geometry dash for example) or that are very light on them (altos journey/odyssey lets you buy characters / gold but it's a single player relaxing game and progressing through the quests the game gives you and unlocking the characters with differing traits is a good part of the replayability anyway as otherwise it's kinda just a visually appealing endless runner type of game)

He actually coded a bot in PowerShell script, what a legend. I spent an entire week in highschool to just have a (somewhat fancy) backup program in batch script (.bat) for a singular file, which would be swapped every time with a slightly altered version of the same file.

There's a distinct difference between pay to play and pay to not play, or rather, pay to progress. If the matchmaking in the game is good and only puts you in fair fights against equally strong opponents, then it doesn't matter that the one guy wasted hundreds if not thousands of bucks on getting to that point and the other didn't.
Good point, issue in this one being that the matchmaking system is the most dysfunctional thing in the game, especially as trophy gates block you from playing against people on your own level as you are physically not allowed to drop down to a league where your card levels are relevant
