  • The A13 is the top and latest model in the Avalon Bottless water dispenser line. The A5 is similar but has mechanical buttons and 3 output sprouts. The A7 is similar to the A5 but only has hot and cold water output. Should have done this a long time ago.

Hello, how often do you need to change the filters? And what is the cost of changing them ?

every 6 months or 1500 gallons. for home use probably extend that time out as 1500 gallons a lot. cost for the pair is 80-90 dollars

So this is basically a portable reverse osmosis system with hot/cold/normal function?

It is not reverse osmosis but a 2 stage block filter. The first filter removes sediments and the 2nd is the carbon filter. It has a compressor to make cold water, a heater for hot water, and room temperature.

Is it still working for ya? Any leaks/break-downs/other complaints?

Works perfectly. No leaks. We use it a lot-the summer heat has been brutal. My usage the filters last about a year--water flow does slow down as the filters get used. We use the cold and hot feature often. Bonus is refilling our water bottles than purchasing them. The A5 or A7 are good less expensive alternative. Should have gone bottleless route earlier. No complaints but wish there were aftermarket filters available. Also, when you lift off the pour button; there is a micro second where water within the lines still come out. You learn to adjust for this--like meauring for baking or not pulling the container away too soon.

If you mean temperature; I used a Thermoworks Thermapen which is an instant read commercial quality temp guage.
