Good on you for taking the time to show folks how to mod their car without spending a fortune. Much more satisfying than spending a fortune and having someone else do it for you. Where is the fun and learning in that ??
Thanks man I’m about to do this on my Lancer, Ralliart mudflaps were £80 but I picked up some surprisingly good quality rubber Mitsubishi branded ones online for £4 a corner Edit: turning your front wheels will give you a lot more room and visibility in those front arches
Im looking to buy one of these cars in the very near future, and am unsure of exactly how the car is. how exactly did you get the holes inside of the wheel wells? Were they pre existing and then you just used the push clips?
I bought rallyarmor flaps for my Talon TSIAWD back in 2014-16. I now drive a subbie wagon and I just bought some 40$ mud flaps off of Amazon. Paying over a hundred for a flap to say “rally armor” is insane. (I bought red ones that’s why I didn’t get Rally Armor universal cheap ones)
They are holding up very well. Also, every time I reverse out of my driveway I scrape them and drag them the opposite way, and they still are holding strong.
I prefer screws to hold my mud flaps on because they tend to catch the ground quite often and those plastic push clips don't like to hold up to the weather too well.
Thanks for the followup. The link in the description just shows a multi-pack (6.3mm 8mm 9mm 10mm) so I guess the answer is to just try them all until you find the one that fits.
Dom I justed picked up a 2020 Impreza and want to throw some mud flaps on it. The front wheel wells have three taps for the push clips but the back two have two taps, would it still work? Definitely subbed up, keep up the great content man
Just an idea for those of you in the rust belt, seal the mudflap all around with outdoor clear silicone to keep crap from building up between the flap and the stock splash shield.
So the process for installing the back mud flaps was the same as the front for you? I have the same car but there aren't any holes in the rear wheel well like there are in the front
I would like to call bullshit on this video. While the front tire instal is accurate and very helpful the reason he skipped the back tires in the video is because at least on my car (21 crosstrek) there are no push clips and you can’t turn the rear wheels to provide drill clearance. Therefore you have to remove the rear wheels to install the rear mudflaps. Not a hard task but this should definitely have been mentioned.
You can buy more clips and you don’t need to use the drill to install if you use the clips instead of screws. Front wheels weren’t turned in the video either.
Not seeing what level ground has to do with it ! I could install whatever the driveway is. End result was a good job regardless . Good video. If you don't have level ground hold the level on the flap as much off as the car is.
I cringed when she was standing there with her hands pressed all up against that hood. Idk about anyone else but I absolutely HATE when people leave hand or finger prints on my impreza. Like get your grimy hands off, thanks.
You wash your car with Kitty litter?
I'm buying them for my Crosstrek. You like them
Yeah meng they're niiice
what color crosstrek?
It's a white trek with with grabber at2 s
and swirl marks

That's the easiest and most complete guide I've seen so far m8.

With your guidance I was able to put some flaps on my 2017 Impreza
This helps a lot, i have a 2018 Subaru impreza hatchback as well and all your mods are clean af
Why didn't you drill them on the hood
he a big dumbo
How did you installed the ones on the back, looking mine only have 2 clips, it doesn't look that is going to hang to good, Please help
You made the install look so easy!👍🏻
Nice installation! Really wanted to see the best way to put these on and I found it, great vid!
Thanks bro!
Good video mate. No fluffing about straight to the point :)
Im looking to buy one of these cars in the very near future, and am unsure of exactly how the car is. how exactly did you get the holes inside of the wheel wells? Were they pre existing and then you just used the push clips?
Collin Caruso I have a 2019, but the install process was the same. The clips and holes are already there.
Shane Weigand thanks for the reply big guy, i just sent it and figured it out, installed the bad boys yesterday in the rain!
Actually the best video I’ve seen installing these on youtube.
So use existing holes and 3m tape got it lol thanks from South Carolina USA
just like that
Lol, just like that.
😂😂
Yeah like that👍🏻
those rims look so good
Thanks bro, they are scratched to death though lol
I have a 2014 Subaru Impreza Base will I be buying the same push clips that are in your description? I have the same mud flaps you have.
Question why did you wanna get a normal Impreza and not a wrx?
What size drill bit did you use to drill the holes into the mud flaps?
just measure the push pins and eyeball it to the same size.
Stupid question, but I assume the mud flaps from Amazon in the link attached come in a set of 4 ???
What wheels are those, got my 2017 Impreza recently and been looking for that style of wheels
I bought rallyarmor flaps for my Talon TSIAWD back in 2014-16. I now drive a subbie wagon and I just bought some 40$ mud flaps off of Amazon. Paying over a hundred for a flap to say “rally armor” is insane. (I bought red ones that’s why I didn’t get Rally Armor universal cheap ones)
quick question: if im looking to wrap my car, can i still put the mud flaps in before i wrap? or should i wrap first?
Great video, what was the music used when washing your car?
Thanks for the video . How are they holding up after hitting freeways speed?
They are holding up very well. Also, every time I reverse out of my driveway I scrape them and drag them the opposite way, and they still are holding strong.
ok ill try these using your method.
Let me know when you finish. I would like to see
for sure! im on the impreza5 forum. keep a look out
Extremely helpful, thank you!
Are they still holding well till today? Any problems?
Very helpful thanks.
Great video, very easy to follow and I love the vibe 👍
What grill is that?
I prefer screws to hold my mud flaps on because they tend to catch the ground quite often and those plastic push clips don't like to hold up to the weather too well.
Just what I needed! Thanks bro!👊😁🤙
Wicked simple. No template needed.
What size push clips and drill bit did you use? Did you re-use the existing clips or have to buy more?
All the materials I used are in the description. Not too sure about the drill bit size, but any set should have it.
Thanks for the followup. The link in the description just shows a multi-pack (6.3mm 8mm 9mm 10mm) so I guess the answer is to just try them all until you find the one that fits.
Yes, I linked the multi pack because they are so cheap and its always good to have different sizes. No problem bro! Thanks for the support.
dude, you've been kissing curbs or did you buy those rims with that rolled metal look ;0
yeah......
Just like that. Simple video and easy to install
So what’s the difference between the universal fit vs make/model specific?
Kate Bollman one is easier to install and costs 100$ more
vClue I ended up purchasing the ones made for my vehicle. Thanks!
clean af
Wooo
How did you attach the rear ones? My sedan sport doesn’t have clips in the rear like the front does
Check the description to see if there is a bag of clips I linked. If not, just order a universal set off of amazon
Dom Fillari thanks bro. Keep up with the videos. Looking for more and more things to do to my Impreza
Dom I justed picked up a 2020 Impreza and want to throw some mud flaps on it. The front wheel wells have three taps for the push clips but the back two have two taps, would it still work? Definitely subbed up, keep up the great content man
For the amazon link, does it only come with one mud flap for $24?
Pretty sure it’s the set. But multiple people raised that concern so something must be weird about it.
where did you get the grille?
Nice video..
Wondering if those are durable
They’re still holding m8. Worth a shot for 29 bucks
Nice job
Nice. Thank you bro.
Any update? Did it stayed well?
yeah buddy, they're holding strong
So same for an 08 hatch too 🙄 im not gonna lie my MF are heavy duty so im gonna need a roll of tape 😲 but like the idea for sure 👍
Why u didn’t turned the wheels...
Why not turn the wheels to access the wheel well
Thats a huge level haha
Ctfu... so big
Just an idea for those of you in the rust belt, seal the mudflap all around with outdoor clear silicone to keep crap from building up between the flap and the stock splash shield.
This is freakin’ genius!
Where do I buy these $30 mudflaps?
Amazon
So the process for installing the back mud flaps was the same as the front for you? I have the same car but there aren't any holes in the rear wheel well like there are in the front
You look like young George Clooney ;)
Bro what is the size of that Mud Flaps?
Universal size
👍👍👍
I’ve seen other videos where you need to trim down the mud flaps, guess you don’t?
That's for this video man, it was very helpful.
@5:51 = adult rating
Nice quality. Need more subs though
Yup
So you pay $20 and get the 4 piece mudflap?
I believe it was closer to 35
Dom Fillari thank you Im about to buy them and be your 1000 subscriber
Ayyy thanks bro
Can you share where to buy the many retainer clips? At the dealer they're so expensive.. Great video btw
Autozone is your best friend my guy
So easy!
Dope.

Mud flap should be more symmetrical n flush with vehicle body
It's called "plumb"... But if it was level with the ground, it would be the wrong orientation. Its perpendicular with the ground. Just saying 😂
Not seeing what level ground has to do with it ! I could install whatever the driveway is. End result was a good job regardless . Good video. If you don't have level ground hold the level on the flap as much off as the car is.
lol covered in mud
3M tape is useful for many things... this is not one of them. Pretty ghetto method of doing this.
That girl shouldn't be sitting on the car and touching it with it's bare hands.
It can damage the paint and body.
Lol why wouldn't you put level on car? You just proved that small area of concrete is level that's it the other half might not be
Not even this girl will get me to like this video. Nice try.
You don't have to level your mudflap for the first hole.
1st
I cringed when she was standing there with her hands pressed all up against that hood. Idk about anyone else but I absolutely HATE when people leave hand or finger prints on my impreza. Like get your grimy hands off, thanks.
Just like that
